This was my Mothers ring. She was born in 1912 & I'm not sure when she got the ring.
I like this macro, because I can see all the scratches & dint's. Well worn & well loved.

I know I have a long way to go in macro photography . Had a hard time to have both , the zipper and the iris in the focus and my model started to lose his patience so that the best outcome we had . I guess I needed to go above f9 and more practice of course ...
A chicken feather. I keep chickens as a hobby... I definitely know it's a hobby because I don't make any money at it! I donate any extra eggs to the local food bank, and I don't eat meat so the purpose Has to be a hobby! LOL
I’ll use anything as a bookmark. Grocery receipts are common as are candy wrappers if they’re not sticky. And as I’ve depicted here a dollar bill on occasion. This results in me finding one now and then when I pick up a book I’ve let set for a while. It’s like finding a tiny treasure. Thanks to everyone that stopped by to look, like, and comment pro or con. HMM!

all told, i took 180 shots of different objects for the macromondays' theme of #fingertip(s). already chose and posted the acorn cap but thought i'd show you some of the alternative ones.

Boiled egg shells. These are actually brown eggs taken in B&W and then adjusted for a hint of color..... HMM!
