The #MacroMondays #NaturalShells theme
Barnacle shells on a scallop.
This is a 9 shot photo stacked image, taken using 32mm of extension tubes, mainly window lit but with a desk light directly above to introduce a bit of colour into the reflections in the damp shell. Some work was conducted in Photoshop to adjust highlights and shadows and a subtle vignette was added.

Let this keychain along with the key to open your mind be the guide when you are lost! Happy #MacroMondays
the macromonday theme this week is shadows or in shadow (noir-ish) .... learned several things whilst doing these
(there were 199 pics):
a little p&s tries very hard in low light, the shadows probably would have been crisper on a smoother surface, not all shadows are black, to do these one needs a really strong flashlight (a headlamp works but not as well as hoped).
this one is pretty cool but may need to be cropped down to crop out more of the heart?

For this week's Macro Mondays' theme of "Cards", I photographed some cards of embroidery floss from my craft box. Happy Macro Monday!
The #MacroMondays #Spiral theme
A discarded snail shell from the garden.
This is a 3 image stack, taken outside using 32mm of extension tubes. Photoshop was used to increase contrast and desaturate the background. A light vignette was also added.

Standing on a small lens cap - this cool cat has what I can only describe as "David Bowie eyes".
The other band members in the group must be related; they have the same eye colours.
