Ulu = Messer
The Ulu is a knife traditionally used by the women of the Inuit. The basic shape is a thin blade with a semicircular edge and a handle in the middle of the opposite side. It is used for skinning and dismembering the hunting prey, filleting of fish and for preparing and crushing the food.
This is a small glass weight, with what I think, look like red tentacles inside the glass.
HMM to all.
These are some of my father's WWII service medals. The one that I focused on is his good conduct medal which reads, "fidelity efficiency honor." My father was a Maltese immigrant who gained U.S. citizenship by serving in the army. The medals are made of bronze.

All throughout the 1980's My preferred summer vacation was to spend a week with my Dad floating around on a small lake in Ontario. We would catch bass, northern pike and walleye (pickerel to Canadians). I got married in 1991 and made my last trip to Canada in 1996. This is part of the fifty odd dollars that I still have from that trip. One day my wife and I may drive to Niagara and buy some trinkets at a gift shop because I want to return unto Canada what is Canadian. Thank you to all that care to stop here to view, like and maybe comment. HMM!
