The wonderful thing about beauty is that it has so many layers, and the outer one is of the least importance.

Flor de Santa Gemita - 112121
Garden Orb Weaver
European garden spider (orb-weaver) varieties are very commonly found throughout Europe and North America. In America, their range extends from New England and the Southeast to California and the Northwestern United States. They can also be found in parts of southern Canada adjacent to the United States
The third pair of legs of garden spiders are specialized for assisting in the spinning of orb webs. These spiders also use them to move around on their web without getting stuck. These legs are very useful only in the web; while on the ground, these legs are of little value.[citation needed] Since this tends to be a passive animal, it is difficult to provoke to bite—but if it does, the bite is just slightly unpleasant and completely harmless to humans.[3]
The webs are built by the larger females who usually lie head down on the web, or in a nearby leaf (with a signal thread attached to a leg), waiting for prey to get entangled in the web. The prey is then quickly captured and wrapped in silk before being eaten. Like many other orb weavers, the spider will use its legs to violently oscillate its web if it feels threatened, in an attempt to ward off potential predators. Orb spiders are said to eat their webs each night along with many of the small insects stuck to it. They have been observed doing this within a few minutes. A new web is then spun in the morning

Playing with the macro extension rings again today while washing my dishes, I was not sure on the results and well, it is kind of hard to control the light, also, I need to be faster while setting all because the bubbles explode very fast!
So, something not spectacular for today but well, it will be better when the weather changes...
Good night you all!

I don't mind if you want to place a group's banner or link in the comment section of my photo, HOWEVER, if you don't LIKE or FAV the photo as well, I will delete the comment because, in my opinion, you're just littering

Beautiful dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), in full bloom, the flower head composed of numerous small florets. This dreaded weed can be so beautiful ... beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder.
The name dandelion comes from the French, dents de lion, which means “teeth of the lion,” and refers to the jagged edges on the leaves of the dandelion plant. (Source Naturewatch.ca)
Into the weeds: A macro shot of a dandelion flower head taken with the Fujifilm XT2 with macro extension tube MCEX11 and the Fujinon 16-80mm OIS lens, f8, 35mm.

I have had this title in my head for a while now and just had to try it.
I wanted to catch a drop in mid-air but no such luck. I guess you need a lazer trigger for that.
To be able to get close I used my nifty-fifty with two macro extension tubes (number 1 and 3). I also cropped it a bit.

The old electronic circuit board of a defunct sound amplifier.
It is a NAD design, it must be its logic that makes it look like a le Corbusier-type functionalist urban design maquette.
Playing with a 10 mm macro extension tube, which converts the good old Lumix 25 f/1,7 to a macro lens. Great fun.
