Nikon D300S + Volna9 50mm f:2.8 Macro manuel focus prime lens
ile kaydettim.

More experiments with the SIFRNG Macro extension tubes - taken using ring no.3 (30mm) & Tamron 18-250mm lens, they are alot of fun! I am like a child with a new toy! ;o)
Pointsetta leaf, no additional lighting used, taken in natural daylight by the window. Its great being able to get up so close to objects. The Dof is so shallow, but I quite like the effects it creates. Am managing to get about 3 or 4 cm away from the subjects. I need to work out how to change the aperture before I add the tubes as I think for the leaf shots am working with about f/5.6 (apparently there is a trick you can do using the Dof preview to set the aperture before you add the tubes).
Played around with the hues and levels for this one.
Cicada on Rock (almost dead), 8x10 cropped photo, using sony FE 28mm F2.0 lens with a 6MM autofocus macro extension tube. Also used an shoe mounted flash and a diffusion shade.
Been messing around with my macro extension tubes. Shot with a Canon 7D, Samyang 85mm 1.4 lens.
430 ex ii fired externally through an umbrella, full power.
Must see in large, hit "L".
Photo made with Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/3.5-5.6 lens, with macro extension tubes (41mm total) attached before the lens. Distance from the front lens to the center part was appr. 5 cm. Apparture was f/16 or f/22, I don't recall that exact, and set before the tubes were mounted.
Focused was made with my body movement back and forward, because the lens zoom is not so "gentle".

Every morning I warm milk in a bowl in the microwave for my cereal.. and every morning I think to myself how nice the formations of bubbles are..I must try and capture them.

So there it is, my shot for B/W Friday... Taken using macro extension tubes no.s 1&3 (9mm and 30mm) and standard kit lens 18-55mm, in natural daylight. Aperture set to f/5.6
Trying out my macro extension tubes! I came over all macca pacca with the rock salt!
I'm having depth of field issues though, i am not sure how to get the focus even across the shot. I'll have to practice more.

For the contraption I used thin aluminium sheet, which is very light; for the reflects I put an anti-reflective paper sheet in (not on the picture).

Thank you's
Today I have mostly been writing thank you cards on behalf of my three and half year old son... he got lots of lovely presents for Christmas...next year he can write his own!! ;o)
Note:
Used SIFRNG Macro extenstion tubes; ring no.3 (30mm) & standard 18-55mm kit lens (addition of extension tubes is why the aperture hasn't been recorded in properties, although did set it to f/22 before tubes were added). Roughly taken about 2-3cm from card. Natural daylight.

(my friend Kelly had me babysit her class' monarch butterfly chrysalis while she was away for the weekend. It hatched. The kids in her class named it stripes, I guess when it was still a caterpillar)
