I already cross stitched the quote, but I had a crazy need to machine embroider it onto a hand towel. [on etsy]

For those who don't get it

this design from Urban Threads did not turn out just right. I had a thread issue on one eye and completely forgot to put it in the corner of the washcloth. :P

I did learn something nifty though, variegated thread works really well with this pattern. The scarf turned out so freaking cute! To see a closer pic of the scarf, see it on etsy

11 Jul 08 - Very little of the color remained after a regular wash with laundry detergent and Oxy Clean. The machine embroidery saved the day.

This piece will be incorporated into a bag. Will post pictures of finished product when done.

Each of the large patches took over 2 hours to make...I made 14 in one week.
