Utility. Ambient sensing backlit keyboard by default just bright enough to match environment lighting
I got this backpack in '08 for school. Now I can use it for my MacBook Pro It has padding for it and there room for the power cord. There's also a pocket with a hold for headphones so I can listen to music on my iPhone. It will be grey when I travel in a couple weeks.

You wouldn't believe how hard it is to get a good photo of this.
Omdat de batterij in mijn MacBook Pro begon uit te zetten, zat er uiteindelijk niets anders op dan maar een nieuwe aan te schaffen. Voor de prijs van een 8GB iPod nano heb je er eentje...
Cleanliness. No stickers about marketing, accessories, specs, bundled OS, graphics card, or processor
To the left is my MacBook and on the right is the older iBook G4. Going from 12 inches square to 15 inches wide is a major difference, but the iBook has served me well over the past year.

Woke up at the buttcrack of dawn to call FedEx to make sure my package was removed from the truck this morning. Yes, it was removed, according to the nice lady on the phone.
"What was the address to pick up? Oh, I didn't know that N Lombard even goes to numbers that high".
Turns out I had to bike to the furthest edge of Portland- right across the street from Kelly Point. 10 miles from my house, and back 15 miles to work to pick up my laptop.
I wish I had enough trust to have the package dropped off on my front porch.
The bike ride was fairly pleasant- mostly I rode on the Marine Dr bike path, and I discovered another settlement of floating homes (I hold a hope that I'll be able to rent or own a floating home at some point so I keep my eyes on these things.)
Picked up the package around 8:25AM and sprinted to get to work before I felt like it was too late.
A finance meeting (why is this bid 10,000 dollars over budget?) followed by a haircut (wow, it really is worthwhile to pay for a good haircut vs. the barber) and then a Family Commuting workshop to which no one showed.
Then, I get home, and I open the package. My shiny new laptop. Hi, sweet thing. I spend the night admiring the graphics and trying to migrate data from my other laptop while watching, appropriately enough, "Pirates of Silicon Valley".
