It's not only big people that worship Apple products apparently...
I tend not to do much composition work, but I've been following I Drink Lead Paint/Mr Flibble, and he's inspired me to give it a try.
A lecture hall photo taken recently at The Missouri School of Journalism. Photo taken from macdailynews.com:
Transferring my iTunes music from the newer MacBookPro (left) to the old one, running in Target Disk mode.
I'm having a hard time trying to find the right placement for them. Ever since I started using dual displays I've always positioned the secondary display (in this case, the MBP) to the left of my main display, but it turns out, the placement of the CD/DVD Drive on the MacBook Pro (to the right side of the unibody) makes it very hard to insert and remove discs when placed to the left of the Cinema Display. No wonder Apple kindly hints the MacBook Pro should be placed to the right of your main display, but then again, as I just found out, what do you do with your mouse? Taking from Apple suggestion, I guess all I have to do now is start using the mouse with my left hand :)
Now, I would've shown you more images of the unpacking and stuff, but Martin erased them all along with some other pics I took recently. Just another reason why you shouldn't co-own a camera. FAIL.
So this was a lot of fun. My son is such a good little actor already. I had him yell "Wow!!!!" into the ring flash that's behind the screen. I placed a full CTO gel in the ring flash, and I had an ungelled flash with a lumiquest softbox on my camera for fill. I set my white balance to tungsten to turn both the ambient and the fill light blue while the ring light with the gel on it looks normal.
My current workspace at home. I usually do most of my writing at Cafe Pause though. I took the picture for Matt Fraction's "Deskset" pool.
Testing with a MacBook Pro CoreDuo 2Ghz (2Gb of ram).
This is part of an upgrade for a client, six 30" Apple Cinema Display connected to DualCore 2.3Ghz PowerMac G5s.
I got this Mac Style sticker for my macbook pro after seeing it on someone's photostream. I am tired and can't remember who it was!! (Same style, "elegant" but it was a dark burgundy) Mine is "elegant" in lime green. EDIT: It was Just Abi. :)
I really like the cover- I tried really, really hard not to get bubbles but still had a bunch of small ones. They have disappeared over the last few days though- score!
I pointed the built-in camera of my MacBook Pro to my TV screen so that my friend in Viena, AU could watch this absolutely vital Uefa Champion's League game over a Skype connection. The video feed proved quite decent and it is always good to enjoy a beer with your football buddies :-)
Is MUCH better than one that doesn't work. For those that don't follow me on twitter, the Cinema Display box that I posted the pic of a few days ago contained a Cinema Display that turned out to be very expensive speakers/usb hub.... Yesterday morning the replacement arrived, and I was very thankful that it works. So now my new setup is complete.
Sheri Edwards and I led a webinar today. It was scary and empowering! The archive is here:

Me and Susanna are moving soon, so we're doing a bit of a cleaning. In the depths of our closet we found a bunch of our old computers that we didn't have the patience to move files from, reformat and sell or whatever had to be done. So I decided to get to it. Didn't realize there were so many of them.
The Mac OSX Migration Assistant is heavenly. My new MacBookPro (left, the shiny one with a shift key) is getting a transfusion of all my applications, data, and settings from the old one on the right, via firewire.
By the time I returned from a roundtrip drive to the Phoenix Airport, it was all done.
My new MBP is pretty much everything I had on the old one, but faster, cleaner, shinier...
The result of the most expensive water spillage I've ever made. On the left is my new MacBook Pro, on the right is the soaked/crippled 15" PowerBook.
After iPhone screen replacement the phone passed all of our quality assurance tests and released to a customer with 3 months warranty.
