Cleaned and dusted my office today and thought I would preserve it for posterity sake and show off a still fairly-new laptop that will soon be made to look ugly and feel obsolete by whatever Jony Ives is cooking up at Apple.
My macbook pro always seems to end up as a testing ground for new stickers we get. I love the new ones!
We deemed this Macbook Pro A1425 Spillage Repair beyond economical repair with reason being too extensive corrosion damage causing short-circuits.
I let my father switch to Macs. He's going to use Xcode for development, and VMWare Fusion for running some Windows-only tools.
I've had to shut myself away in the office on my own today to get some urgent stuff finished before the weekend.

The white square Magsafe connector was replaced with a cylindrical silver connector, which matches the texture of the notebook body, but also blocks the Ethernet port when oriented with the cable inward, rendering the bottom LED and that orientation useless.
As many readers noted, the my web traffic spiked thanks to the Digg Effect. While this web traffic is bound to drop, I think I've reached out to new readers so my web traffic should increase from the daily 1400+ unique visitors. I also watch my Feedburner stats carefully, so now the pressure is on to entertain 366 RSS subscribers... :P
It's not only big people that worship Apple products apparently...
I tend not to do much composition work, but I've been following I Drink Lead Paint/Mr Flibble, and he's inspired me to give it a try.
