The more Internet connections we can make, the less "real" connections we seem to have. It seems the majority of contact with the outside world many of us seem to get these days is through the use of one of these.

Wallpaper formatted specifically for the MacBook Pro retina display. Select "All sizes" in the actions menu above the photo to get the full-sized image.
I love the clean look of the apple macbook pro, but I wanted something that reflected it was mine. Something simple and not seen everywhere, so I put on this translucent apple logo and now everyone at the coffee shops ask me how I did it. Kinda cool :)

Running Mac OS X Snow Leopard. GPS, I-Bus, and rearview camera, touch panel, etc. are connected via USB. iPhone and Apple Wireless Keyboard can also be used for controlling the computer via Bluetooth.
The bezel for the LCD is made by Mr. Rich Silva (http://www.mybimmer.net/CarPCLCD.htm). His bezel is beautifully crafted.
The headunit is relocated to the glovebox by extending the cables. It can be hidden when not needed.
Aside from my old MacBook Pro dedicated for this project, the whole modification costs a lot less than the other 2-DIN type systems.
I ordered some stickers from eBay and Bleach'd my Macbook Pro. Turned out better than I thought. Ichigo is also the name I gave the laptop.
The wallpaper was originally found at pixelgirlpresents, and the artist (Scott Jackson) was nice enough to send me a widescreen version. I modded it a bit. Anyway, if you have any questions, please ask. :)
Updating my desk photo early (see last one) because I replaced the 30" LCD with a 27" iMac. My MacBook Pro has a Mini-DisplayPort, and to connect it to the 30" screen requires using Apple's Dual-link DVI adaptor, which is (to put it briefly) a fundamentally flawed product. Ergo iMac! It has roughly the same resolution as a 30" display, looks better, costs less, doesn't require me to use Apple's faulty Dual-link DVI Adapter, and it came with a free Mac inside! It also has decent built-in speakers, so I was able to get rid of the crappy iHome speakers I had before. I'm definitely liking this setup better than what I had before.
