Updating my desk photo early (see last one) because I replaced the 30" LCD with a 27" iMac. My MacBook Pro has a Mini-DisplayPort, and to connect it to the 30" screen requires using Apple's Dual-link DVI adaptor, which is (to put it briefly) a fundamentally flawed product. Ergo iMac! It has roughly the same resolution as a 30" display, looks better, costs less, doesn't require me to use Apple's faulty Dual-link DVI Adapter, and it came with a free Mac inside! It also has decent built-in speakers, so I was able to get rid of the crappy iHome speakers I had before. I'm definitely liking this setup better than what I had before.

Here is the second in the series of my desk at work. As you can see i'm now utterly surrounded by radiation producing PC monitors. Yep that is a Macbook Pro too if you're asking.

I got bored while backing up some files not too long ago, and had a grand ol' time taking macro shots of my lovely MacBook Pro.
Such a patient, willing subject.
I have achieved my perfect workspace. The only wires are the ones connecting my macbook pro to my monitor and my monitor to a power source.
Thursday.
Dave made an impulsive decision today that we needed a new laptop to replace the old one lol. We already have an iMac as our desktop computer and love it, so we decided another Apple addition was necessary. So this is our new MacBook Pro Retina - Apple do the best packaging don't they! It has the most sharpest and smoothest screen ever! And Dave loves just staring at the pixels!
My current workspace with the new 17" Unibody MacBook Pro, Dell 24" LCD and all the bells and whistles. The keyboard and monitor part of the desk are adjustable. The desk was donated from my in-laws soon after I moved to Sweden and is pretty nice.
I think this answers the question of why my MacBook Pro kept randomly shutting down and why my mousepad button was all tacky. Go Apple!
Read the entire saga here.
Obsolete technology. 2009 MacBook Pro outperformed completely by a 2020 MacBook Air. A factor of 10 or so. Now this fine old piece of electronic is classified as obsolete junk. Goodbye and thanks for all the computation.
In order to carry out a successful Macbook U8000 switch repair the component had to be replaced and S4/S5 power state switching capability restored.

In meinen Kommentaren wollte seba_stian die Location für die Danbofotos sehen. Hier ist sie. Das ist unser Wohnzimmer. Die meisten Danbobilder wurden hier aufgenommen.
In my comments seba_stian wanted to see the location for my Danbo photos. Here it is. That's our livingroom. Most of the Danbo pictures were taken there.
