A mother offers a baby to a father with joy
it doesn't matter if it's a girl or a boy
A father will marvel with a smile and a tear
and then say to all, let us celebrate and have a beer
and all along God smiles from above
He reaches down and touches us all
with so much love
He had a women give her all for His Son
thru a dove
that wondrous love
It was meant to stop the shedding of blood
but alas, the battles go on
and man cannot stop
it will take a woman from the top
she will crush the head of the evil doer for all
and stand on it's head triumphant and tall
a mothers job is never done
until it ends with the arrival of her Son.
