May 10th is Mother's Day in Mexico and in other countries in Latin America. It is not fair to celebrate only one day one of the toughest and most important jobs in all the planet: to run the house and raise the children. We must acknowledge their important role to society and be participative into this jobs in an equal manner. We must celebrate everyday the presence of our Mothers in our lives.

Clark's Grebe and Chick, Lake Hodges, San Diego County, there is actually a second chick tucked beneath the wings.
Our cat Myshka once had 4 kittens in 1992. Three kittens were taken by our friends, and we left the most beautiful red cat with us. He was very smart, but a coward. All his life he followed his mother on the heels, could not spend a single minute without her. Both cats were friends with the dog, often played and slept together.

Here is a another capture from the pastures at Marbach. The mare and filly are German warmblood horses. I hope that I will be able to go there again in the near future as I would like to take some more photos of the Arabian horses who were difficult to photograph last time.
