Fragile Beauty glowing in modesty

Amagusa Reserve - Ecuador

One from a couple of weeks ago.... working away at the moment, so not had much time for my photos... catch up soon! Moss valley March 2016

Moss Glen Falls of Granville is a gorgeous horsetail with thin streams of water which choose their path down a slightly angled rock face. The falls start out by bubbling down over some short steps before spreading out to dance down into a light teal pool about 25 feet wide. The falls are located on VT 100, and they are a major contributing factor as to why this road is widely considered to be Vermont's most scenic byway.

Moss could be annoying when it“s taking over your lawn, but it is quite beautiful when taking a closer look.

Amagusa Reserve - Ecuador

From my trip to Vermont this past Saturday. Unfortunately, as I was driving north on RT-100, the weather deteriorated and ultimately turned into heavy rain for hours. Just before the weather took a turn for the worse, I was able to stop at Moss Glen Falls. It's a gorgeous location.

Yes, I know it's a funny format! I took this shot in portrait mode and as usual, I wasn't quite happy with it. Ultimately I decided to crop it and go with a format in between landscape and portrait. Thinking outside the box here.

The flora of the Andes National Park Cotopaxi (Ecuador) is rich in plants with delicate flowers, but unfortunately, for the most part, I don't know their names. But I'll show them to you anyway, they are very pretty!

A short excursion with friends today. This is one of the photos.

šŸŽ¶ COSMO SHELDRAKE - THE MOSS

Legend has it that the moss grows on

The north side of the trees

Well, legend has it when the rain comes down

All the worms come up to breathe

Well, legend has it when the sunbeams come

All the plants, they eat them with their leaves

Well, legend has it that the world spins 'round

On an axis of 23 degrees

But have you heard the story of the rabbit in the moon?

Or the cow that hopped the planets while straddling a spoon

Or she, who leapt up mountains, while whistling up a tune

And swapped her songs with swallows while riding on a broom

Well, we can all learn things, both many and a-few

From that old hunched-up woman who lived inside a shoe

Or the girl that sang by day and by night she ate tear soup

Or the man who drank too much and he got the brewers' droop

Just a quick snap of a bit of moss struggling to stand tall while carrying a huge water droplet, on a wall in Sorn.

Yes, I did lie down on wet moss to get this photo, on the quiet and cold morning of January 1, 2019. That may or may not have something to do with the cold I came down with soon after, but I don't regret it. :)
