The #MacroMondays theme for 6/8 is tag(s) and I learned much in looking for tags in clothing: that I appear to like garments with more natural fibers, that I like roomy clothes, and that I keep things for quite a while. There is at least one thing here that proves that I actually like tagless tags.

ENGLISH VERSION
The very first Zeiss 6x30 model is called Jagdglas (see www.flickr.com/photos/franksbinoculars/50316463193) and is introduced in 1906/1907. It was more or less the predecessor of the later Silvamar (see www.flickr.com/photos/franksbinoculars/29833588962) and Marineglas (see www.flickr.com/photos/franksbinoculars/50304475453). Remarkable at this time besides the new design is also the large field of view of 150 m/1000 m. Over time the model undergoes various changes. As a very successful binocular e.g. the Silvamar is produced until March 1969.
This very rare example is about an export model for the Danish army, recognizable by the crown over HT on the left top cover plate (HT Hærens Tøjhus, acceptance mark of the Danish army, purchased between 1909 and 1932). On the right top plate above JAGDGLAS there is the inscription "Nr. 227." which got struck out; the left upper plate apparently shows the new number "Nr899". This can be explained by the fact that the original inventory number 227 got replaced by the new number 899 between 1924 and 1930; also compare www.wehrmacht-awards.com/forums/showthread.php?t=930341.

105 MM Howitzer
M101
USA 1928 to Present
The "105" has been the workhouse of the U.S. Field Artillery and 46 other countries around the world. It was the recommended gun of the 1919 Westerveldt Board based on the experiences of World War I.
The M1 tube was standardized in 1928 using 7 increment, semi-fixed ammunition and equipped with the wooden wheeled, horse drawn carriage M1. In 1935 the howitzer was altered to handle fixed ammunition and by 1940 a new carriage M2 was standardized for high speed towing. The carriage in front of you is the M2A2 of 1943 design. Redesignated M101 in 1947, this seventy year old howitzer system is still on active duty. Over 10,000 have been produced. Simple, sturdy, and with an expected life of 7,500 full charges this veteran of many campaigns will probably be in use into the next century.

210 MM MORTAR
GR19 21 CM SCHWERER GRANATWERFER
GERMANY WWII
Two hundred of these large mortars were manufactured by Skoda for Germany. They were designed so that the complete unit could be towed behind a vehicle. Riding above the tube, the base plate remained in place during transit.
In firing position, the wheels rested in shoes which were attached to the base plate by rods. Elevation was obtained by rack and pinion on the upright legs. The firing mechanism was built into the breech ring and was of the continuous pull type. The original Skoda prototype was 22 cm. However, the mortar was produced in 21 cm caliber to utilize German standard ammunition. This particular weapon was probably captured in 1943 by U.S. forces in North Africa.
