PRECIOSA ORNELA presents a new pressed bead known as PRECIOSA Rippleâ„¢ under the PRECIOSA Traditional Czech Beads brand.
The circular bead with a 12 mm diameter has a centrally located hole and an undulating surface on both sides. The identical profile of both sides of the bead enable its 100% use during the application of a series of ten new types of combined, dual color vacuum decorations called California. The undulating surface of the bead causes a ripple to pass through the metallic decoration in both the shiny and matt finish. The centrally located hole predestines this bead to be used in combination with seed beads or fire polished beads during stringing or embroidery.

I've been derelict in my film camera rotation. Haven't exercised this little jewel in over a year. It's a might dusty but clicking away.
This is an Olympus OM-2 MDn. Nailed together by Olympus for the 'Pro Market.' It did most of what my Canon and Nikon cameras did but was much smaller and lighter.
This OM-2 MDn was made in 1979 with the full boat tech of the day: off the film metering, shutter reset, rounder body, lighter advance lever, auto X synch with Olympus strobe, and many more 'fancy' gizmos.
The Zuiko 35-70mm zoom lens is surprisingly sharp with very little light fall off. At 1:3.5 it is both fast enough and sharp enough for press and scientific work.
This little sweetheart has been around the world twice - cleaned and serviced once - not too shabby!

The Helsinki class missile boats (Finnish: Helsinki-luokan ohjusvene) are a type of vessel which were in use by the Finnish Navy. They were the predecessors of the Rauma class missile boats. All the ships were constructed at the Wärtsilä yards in Helsinki, Finland.
The vessels were designed as fast attack crafts, but designated "missile boats" in the Finnish Navy, as to tone down their offensive capabilities. They were armed with up to eight RBS-15 SSMs, one dual-purpose Bofors 57 mm gun, 2 × 23 mm double-barreled anti-aircraft guns and two depth charge racks. In Croatian navy service ships have just 4 RBS-15 missiles.
As planned during the late 1990s, the class was due to undergo a mid-life upgrade through 2006-2008 but this was rejected because of budget restrains, The ships have now been decommissioned and two of the vessels have been sold to the Croatian Navy for a symbolic price of €9 million (65 million kuna) due to the previous Croatian purchase of Patria AMV vehicles. The deal was signed on July 17, 2008, the ships were officially handed to the Croatian Navy on October 13, 2008 and finally arrived to Croatia on November 02, 2008. New names after two Croatian cities "Vukovar "(41), and "Dubrovnik" (42). Bouth cities are badly damaged in Serbian agression on Croatia 1991-1995.
