Isn't she just precious? When you meet them they are such little miracles... with their own personalities, likes and dislikes already. This little lady was so calm and serene... just like her name, "Serena".
On another note... remember Macro Mondays and Pretty Pink Tuesdays? I guess that is not still a thing? I stay away from flickr and then miss it and then come back and I start to visit my friends and find it is not the same... are we getting old? Do "younger" people like flickr as much as we did? I find the interface cumbersome and finding my friends difficult (I may have to weed out some people... but hate to do that). And how about flickr friend requests/following - whatever they are called now? Nowadays when I receive one it is from someone that has 20,000+ "friends" LOL way to make a girl feel special.
Well, enough ranting for one day. Hope you are all having a great Monday. xx
"There are two ways to live – one is to believe everything is a miracle, the second is to believe nothing is a miracle."
Dedicated to my dear friend Annick.

Few days ago, I walked along small road and some people looks curious what I see and take photo. An aunty ask what did I see and have I never seen this before. I smiled and waved my hand to her. I said just want to see something new nearby my house... Actually I want gto tell her that I see miracel on sky, beautiful scene and wonderful moment, not so far, just behind her back...
Looking to the east during evening sunset, its wonderful to see a blue beam. Alone bird makes feelong of life at dusk.
I was with my niece, young girl but she could see and take photo quite well. We have only one camera and I didnt hand her camera this time, just asked her to see around what is beautiful, worth taking photo and she told me to see this miracle... I have to thank you for her nice eyes

Anticrepuscular rays (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedi)a
Anticrepuscular rays are similar to crepuscular rays, but seen opposite the sun in the sky. Sunlight travels in straight lines, but the projections of these lines on Earth's spherical atmosphere are great circles. Hence, straight-line crepuscular rays from a setting (or rising) sun can appear to re-converge at the antisolar point. Anticrepuscular rays are most frequently visible near sunrise or sunset. Crepuscular rays are usually much brighter than anticrepuscular rays. This is because for crepuscular rays, seen on the same side of the sky as the sun, the atmospheric light scattering making them visible is taking place at small angles

As per our trip to Europe.. Every major sight seemed to be under construction! So I couldn't get the shot I wanted. But I walked around the back and got this. Such an amazing building in an amazing city!

To see every year, my Amaryllis flower transforms from an ugly bulb to an amazing blossom ... This is the miracle of life!

Just quick hello here on Flickr. I won't be around much the coming week but hope to have more time soon. Happy weekend and autumn everyone!
5th August recalls the miracle of snowfall in Rome indicating where the first church in the West to be dedicated to Our Lady was built. Today is the feast of the dedication of Sta Maria Maggiore in Rome, and this relief is inside the basilica.

Mei, pumpkin and my PLF’s bring me such light, hope and proof of miracles. I’m SO thankful for all of you and to all of you. 💜
No, not the miracle of life, or of trees blooming, or even of Flickr... No, it's a miracle that this shot came out of a Suntone camera. You just never know. (Explore)
The Suntone was another $10 bet on Ebay. It had no promised lomo effects, but I couldn't resist the huge bulky black and yellow body that said "Wickes Lumber" on the back. This pic gives me hope that even cameras like the Suntone have a photogenic sweet spot.
BONUS Sunday announcement!
I am happy to tell all of my friends and contacts that posting of the "disposable camera with wax paper over the lens" series has been shelved and will likely not be revived until it can be called nostalgia.

“Childhood is the world of miracle or of magic: it is as if creation rose luminously out of the night, all new and fresh and astonishing. Childhood is over the moment things are no longer astonishing. When the world gives you a feeling of "déjà vu," when you are used to existence, you become an adult.”

Precursor to the current Panamera may have been a reincarnation of the 928 H50 Concept. It is interesting to know that Porsche was already working on a four-door saloon 25 years ago. The automaker reportedly made two of these models back in 1987, one that carried a hatchback-style rear while others had more of a station wagon look.

WOW, stunning, possibly a miracle... The state of Hawaii (formerly known as the Sandwich Islands) has appeared on my stove... 😳 Maui, Oahu, the Big Island -- ALL there... Even Molokai and Kahoolawe. Thus, I've contacted the Vatican... I've contacted Oprah Winfrey.... The significance is unprecedented -- we've never BEEN here before... And where it goes - its ultimate meaning - no one, absolutely NO ONE, can guess. 🐳
Do listen to this beautiful Sarah McLachlan song
www.imeem.com/tonlang/music/h0YIwJ7A/sarah_mclachlan_ordi...
It’s not that usual when everything is beautiful
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
The sky knows when its time to snow
You don’t need to teach a seed to grow
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
Life is like a gift they say
Wrapped up for you everyday
Open up and find a way
To give some of your own
Isn’t it remarkable?
Like every time a raindrop falls
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
Birds in winter have their fling
And always make it home by spring
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
When you wake up everyday
Please don’t throw your dreams away
Hold them close to your heart
Cause we are all a part
Of the ordinary miracle
Ordinary miracle
Do you want to see a miracle?
Its seems so exceptional
Things just work out after all
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
The sun comes up and shines so bright
It disappears again at night
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
It’s just another ordinary miracle today
This “MIRACLE DRINK” has been circulating for a long time. It is worth your while to take note. There is a celebrity Mr. Seto who swears by it. He wants to make it public to draw the attention of people who have cancers. This is a drink that can protect bad cells forming in your body or it will restrain its growth! Mr. Seto had lung cancer. He was recommended to take this drink by a famous Herbalist from China. He has taken this drink diligently for 3 months and now his health is restored thanks to this drink! It can’t hurt to try!
It is simple.
You need one beet root, one carrot and one apple that combine together to make the JUICE!
Wash the above, cut with the skin on into pieces and put them into the juicer and immediately you drink the juice. You can add some lime or lemon for more refreshing taste.

It’s the oldest story in the world; one day your 17 and planning for someday and then quietly and without you ever really noticing someday is today. and then someday is yesterday. and this is your life.
We spend so much time wanting, pursuing, wishing-- but ambition is good, chasing things with integrity is good, dreaming. If you had a friend you knew you’d never see again, what would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love, what would it be? Say it, do it, don’t wait… nothing lasts forever.
Make a wish and place it in your heart; anything you want, everything you want. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracles gonna to come from, the next memory, the next smile, the next wish come true. But if you believe that it’s right around the corner, you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it-- you just might get the thing you’re wishing for. The world is full of magic; you just have to believe in it. So make your wish. Do you have it? Good, now believe in it... with all your heart.

I know I already used this quote with the last photo I uploaded but I really hated this photo so it's not on my stream anymore. And I wanted to use the quote with a photo I actually like :)
This photo was taken here. I always wanted to take photos there and I finally did it. Maybe you'll see one more photo of this shoot :)
I finally plucked up enough courage to take a train into Liverpool and meet my miracle-man mate, Ian Hughes. We've not laid eyes on each other for three years.
Talking of courage, who can hold a candle to Ian, though?
He fought & beat Covid and he fought & beat Sepsis (twice) - all while worrying & waiting for a suitable organ donor for his essential transplant.
To say today was a great day would definitely be an understatement.

The fortune telling miracle fish is surprisingly accurate in some circumstances.
Thanks to my lovely enemy patchworkbunny for the fish. Posting a photo of it was a requirement of receiving it.
When used on myself the fish reports that I'm a stormtrooper and occasionally in love. I think that's fair.
Every time I redress this girl, I try to do something with her hair, but Sekiguchi used such garbage hair on her, it's impossible to style. It's like cheap toy hair, really bad. I love the color though, & I wish I could find some nice saran hair in that color so I could reroot her.

When I was young,
it seemed that life was so wonderful,
a miracle, oh it was beautiful, magical.
And all the birds in the trees, well they’d be singing so
happily,
joyfully, playfully watching me.
