I'm wearing my purple neckholder ballgown, which is one of my favorite dresses. Obviously I love wearing it myself, but this dress also has a very special history. Years ago I made pictures of my friend Laila wearing this dress, and she sent one of the pictures to a friend of her. He totally fell in love with Laila wearing this purple dress. To make a long story short: they are now happily married and have a cute little son. Beauitiful dresses truly can make miracles happen!

Miracles seem to rest, not so much upon faces or voices or healing power coming suddenly near to us from far off, but upon our perceptions being made finer so that for a moment our eyes can see and our ears can hear that which is about us always.

“The miracles of nature do not seem miracles because they are so common. If no one had ever seen a flower, even a dandelion would be the most startling event in the world.”

If we could see the miracle of a single flower clearly, our whole life would change.

Since a lot of people over here are uploading beautiful mushroom photos, I thought: I can not stay behind.

The result of a recent exploration of Still Life Photography....here I tried combining religion and fashion. A combination of the miracle of the loaves & fishes and some fashion accessories. with some renaissance symbolism added in.

Mother Nature performs her own, daily ; the trick is, being able to recognise them. This is an orchid in a pot sitting on a bathroom window ledge, and is backlit by natural daylight streaming through a frosted glass window. The shot was handheld and flash was not used.

Its raining, and I left my bed early to witness yet another sunrise over one of the most beautiful places on earth, Hunza Valley. The hide and seek of clouds, echo of breeze in my ears, sound of the flowing river, and tiny droplets of afterrain wetting my eyelashes. It was the perfect view, and an amazing one.

Its been and hour since I have been on the rooftop, waiting for the light to touch the sky-high mountains around me. Clouds are traveling in the galleys of the mountain ranges. I can see some fresh snow over the mighty Karakorum ranges above the Baltit fort. This is perfect setting for Shangri La, an utopia on earth.

Suddenly, in the matter of moments the clouds marched away in the isolation of their own... The colors of the sky were changing dramatically. I was unable to see the sun directly, somewhere from the east the sun is shedding light over the Nagar Valley and... Woooa.... I can clearly see the sunlight hitting the moisture and then reflecting to the mountains at right.. Its like the source of light is at my very front... The rianbow over the valley of Hunza has appeared. Its like this view has fulfilled all my voids. I am at the place of perfect harmony and peace.

I have seen may rainbows in my life, but in that moment I thought to myself ‘Rainbows are proof of God’. To me rainbows are such a miracle, and I don’t care what the scientific explanation is for a rainbow. They are still a complete miracle to me. They are so breathtakingly beautiful.

Have a miracle weekend, Happy Eid Milad-un-Nabi, be blessed.

He seemed to be waiting for a miracle to save him from the depths his life had reached and take him to a land of dreams.

Sometimes I think Sanshiro is a special gift. After I found him homeless during new year 2007 at the beach, he ran around my feet, after knowing he was left alone, no mother and he was too young. For 4-5 seconds I decide to adopt him.. He was home and now so happy and be loved from all. He plays and share times a day with all of us.

Every day, several times a day since new year to now, April, he tries to drink milk from my Labrador dog "Poon". I think its just because he misses his mom and want to sleep in such warmful ground like that...

Just recently I wonder why he make noise so real while sucking and why he does this for many months. So I check... Its miracle that my dog, not pregnant nor giving birth but she has MILK for a young cat..

She cleans Sanshiro with love and care and Sanshiro, the small kitten also lit the huge dog too. They often sleep together and often make happy sighs..

I just think this is MIRACEL OF LOVE indeed.

Maybe Sanshiro is my special gift

This photo was taken in front yard garden. Sunlight spotted on two bodies by coincidence. I took lots of shot of this happy moments and once for a while Sanshiro open his eyes and looked upward as if he was happy seeing something.

I sat on ground taking those shots and feel enchanted by this LOVE

I shot this electrical supply box yesterday from my car while stopped at the traffic light. But I wanted a tighter shot to show the contrasting advertisements plastered on it, so I went back to photograph it today. Unfortunately, all these bills were removed overnight. This is quite a tight crop from the original call phone pic. I thought the two ads complimented each other because one of them is advertising a "miracle" meeting, while the other is offering the enlargement of a certain part of the male anatomy. I guess if one method doesn't work, you can always try the other.

Update: (June, 12, 2017) I had another look at the un-cropped picture and I might have been mistaken about the exact location of this scene. I'll check it out tomorrow.

Update: (June, 14, 2017) I was mistaken about the location. The ads on the bin are still there! I hope they stay there until the week-end, when I want to go back and shoot this thing again.

Couldn't decide which I liked best so I put this one up also.

WHY! who makes much of a miracle?

As to me, I know of nothing else but miracles,

Whether I walk the streets of Manhattan,

Or dart my sight over the roofs of houses toward the sky,

Or wade with naked feet along the beach, just in the edge of the water,

Or stand under trees in the woods,

Or talk by day with any one I love—or sleep in the bed at night with any one I love,

Or sit at table at dinner with my mother,

Or look at strangers opposite me riding in the car,

Or watch honey-bees busy around the hive, of a summer forenoon,

Or animals feeding in the fields,

Or birds—or the wonderfulness of insects in the air,

Or the wonderfulness of the sun-down—or of stars shining so quiet and bright,

Or the exquisite, delicate, thin curve of the new moon in spring;

Or whether I go among those I like best, and that like me best—mechanics, boatmen, farmers,

Or among the savans—or to the soiree—or to the opera,

Or stand a long while looking at the movements of machinery,

Or behold children at their sports,

Or the admirable sight of the perfect old man, or the perfect old woman,

Or the sick in hospitals, or the dead carried to burial,

Or my own eyes and figure in the glass;

These, with the rest, one and all, are to me miracles, The whole referring—yet each distinct, and in its place.

To me, every hour of the light and dark is a miracle,

Every cubic inch of space is a miracle,

Every square yard of the surface of the earth is spread with the same,

Every foot of the interior swarms with the same;

Every spear of grass—the frames, limbs, organs, of men and women, and all thatconcerns them,

All these to me are unspeakably perfect miracles.

To me the sea is a continual miracle;

The fishes that swim—the rocks—the motion of the waves—the ships, with menin them,

What stranger miracles are there?
