Many people complain about Chinese products. I personally do not care where a product comes from as long as it works. I purchased a set of Miracle Blade knives for $19.99 over 15 years ago. These knives have been the best knives. They are as sharp today as the day I got them. And yes they are made in china.

Nothing ever goes quite as planned when working on old cars. Today was different. EVERYTHING fell right into place. I had to re-build my self-made driveshaft loop to fit arond a bigger driveshaft. There was no practical way to measure anything so I was forced to make a series of estimations based on stuffing my hand into tight spaces and measuring whichever knuckle stopped progress. I guessed an angle based on sight and started cutting metal, grinding and welding. Years of experience has taught me that this is method of extimating requires at least two rounds of re-work but today it all went together and fit PERFECTLY - amazing. Now I'll be allowed on the track and will not have to worry about pole vaulting my car if the front U-joing gives out. Gavin was laughing at me and taking my picture.

Oops, finally I realize that recently I accquire quite a number of new toys and lens :P Time to be 'girly' again!!! Bought myself new foundation, mascara and masks ~ I haven't bought new cosmetics for nearly 3 months!! How happy I am when I saw the bottom of my old foundation and powder cake!!! haha~
(well, the truth is, I did not sleep much and well recently. I'm desperate in need of a Miracle touch!! It may not really save me but the everytime I read the name it's like a spell to believe in XD )

busy beginning of the month for me. three sets of photos for people, and spring break. just catching up with my 365... yeah, yeah, I'm a couple weeks behind (3!!). they're all taken, but editing took all my time.
this man is a living miracle. he was born at 24+6 weeks at only 1 pound 14 ounces. He is now almost 5 months and over 10 pounds. his mom and dad gave up weeks of their lives to allow him to earn his. his mom slept upside down for weeks to keep him inside. I used to joke that I was going to tickle him to pieces when he got out, b/c he would run away every time I tried to find his heartrate with the ultrasound. And I have a great feeling that I will one day run behind him with tickle fingers. He is a miracle.

In the sleepy town of Naju, Korea, there is this lady, Julia Kim, who is claims to be a medium of the Virgin Mary. She also owns a statue of the Virgin Mary that sheds tears and speaks through this woman. The photos were taken on Good Friday 2007. The "blood" came from the "stigmata" from her forehead.

One of twelve six-metre tall windows that surround the area at the east end of Canterbury Cathedral where Becket's shrine was once placed. Known as the 'miracle windows', they tell the story of his life, death and the miracles he performed. This window, the fifth in the series, shows the myriad ways that Saint Thomas intervened in the lives of ordinary people.

This damaged Madonna and Child was standing outside a church. Someone came up to me while I was photographing it and told me that it had gone from the 3-stories high steeple to a standing position on the ground after the church exploded in February 1971.
The other photo was taken under the Scotch pines by the churchyard entrance prior to visiting the church.
Ok, so it's not officially in the Miracle Mile, but the Metroplaza tower on the right is just half a block away. Sadly, the location is doing this original Art Deco tower and facade no favors as the whole block is set to be demolished for expansive mid-rise apartments. In a neighborhood quickly filling up with Fake Art Deco (Fart Deco), any loss of an original piece of this historic neighborhood dulls its prestige.
After several straight weekends of rainouts thanks to a very wet Arkansas spring, the Blue Heroes, Red Warriors, Purple Legends, and Green Champions were able to take advantage of a beautiful Saturday morning on May 18 at Monticello’s sports complex, where the four teams took the field at the Miracle League Park. Dubbed “Celebration Saturday,” the final day of the spring season included the presentation of trophies, team pictures, and a cookout.
