They are the Makers; thought-leaders who synthesize creative inspiration with the next big idea, and companies that successfully cultivate innovation and then translate it into commerce. What can we learn from their experience integrating new ideas? Is your brand positioned to leverage change? What are the critical new tools that you need, now?

In the midst of this very kitschy 'old town' with shops and a carnival and cotton candy, we came across a booth that was basically a simulation of an execution - "pay a dollar to watch him holler." There was a consistent crowd around the display, and after watching it actually do its thing, I couldn't even be near enough to hear it - it was pretty upsetting.
In the midst of the New Years festivities was this little kid who had a little Lion costume on; he put on a pretty impressive routine and had a good sized following.
Kids would come up and give him red envelopes, which he gladly took. He would then stop, call for his mother, hand the red envelopes to her, and then start dancing around again.
When asked by his father if he was tired, he said: "YES! But I can't stop yet."
In the midst of local mom n pop shops, there's a very cute boutique called "Polkadot Shanghai" that sells cute retro goods and signature panda dolls (very cute). Apparently it's opened by a Japanese girl. polkadotshanghai.com/map

The standing stone is 1.96m high. The stone stands in the midst of a large complex of stone field walls and stone enclosures some of which are buried under or sticking up out of the bog. It is not possible to say to what extent these are associated with, or are of similar date to, one another. A modern field boundary divides the area and is built of stone similar to those buried in the bog. It is likely that this was, at least in part, constructed by robbing the earlier structures. (b) S of the modern wall is a series of walls and enclosures all definitely associated. Some are buried up to 1m in the bog and have been revealed by probing. Other sections of this series are visible in turf cuttings and at the edges of the bog, where it is less deep and peters out. The series consists of a number of small 'fields' and two small oval cairns, 6m × 4m and 8m × 3m. A larger semicircle of stones to the N fades out on the S side of the modern field wall. It is now c. 32m in diameter. (c) To the N of the modern field boundary is a second series of walls and enclosures. These are distributed about the standing stone (a) above. W of this standing stone are three other stones standing in a roughly N-S line. To the S of these is a large circular stone enclosure c. 35m in diameter. A stone wall divides this enclosure N-S into an eastern 2/3 and a western 1/3. The wall stops c. 6m from the S side of the enclosure. On the N side, between the enclosure wall and the dividing wall, is a small sub-circular enclosure. There is a second small enclosure just outside the main large enclosure. There are a number of stretches of field walls to the N, W and E, and four small enclosures associated with these. The turf has been removed in this area and it is not possible to say with certainty that these features predated its growth. (d) Further N on the same hill are a number of other field walls with an associated rectangular foundation. These are situated in rough boggy terrain but it is not possible to say whether or not they predate the bog, which has been largely cut away in this area.

The Cessna O-2A origined in the midst of the Vietnam conflict, when the American forced needed a reliable and rugged platform for Forward Air Control - finding and marking targets for the high- and fastflying bombers. The OV-10 Bronco was selected for this mission, but its manufacturer could not cope with the demand. Between 1967 and 1970 Cessna produced over five hunderd O-2's.
Our aircraft (registered N590D) was built in 1967 as the 6th O-2A to come off the line, and served for three years in Vietnam. After that she was flown back to the US, where she served until well into the 80's. She was when sold into civil hands. In the early 2000's the worn down airframe was fullye restored to its original military state in Camarillo, California.
N590D came to the Netherlands by initiative of Jeff Bakker and Erik Brouwer. An interview with both men lead to reactions from the Dutch aviation community, and finally to one Dutch party purchasing the O-2A. Chairman Jeff Bakker participated in the ferry flight across the Atlantic.

Nestled in the midst of verdant woods, Kasuga Taisha is approached via a long pathway intended to give the visitor time to prepare for worship. The natural setting is a purposeful part of the sacred site, since Shinto is rooted in nature.
Originally the royal shrine of the powerful Fujiwara family, Kasuga Grand Shrine was founded in 768 and, according to Shinto concepts of purity, was torn down and rebuilt every 20 years in its original form until 1863. Since virtually all empresses hailed from the Fujiwara family, Kasuga Shrine enjoyed a privileged status with the imperial family.

I'm in the midst of doing a 365 doll project. I don't actually have 365 dolls but the basic intention is to photograph a different doll each day, in addition to a different doll's photo every day I will also post up some pertinent details about them.

We awoke in the midst of a vicious cycle,
Becoming the satellites whose transmissions are static served.
As of late, it seems my audience has been lacking.
I can only pray that you're tuning in during a moment of clarity,
Just to hear me utter these spiteful words before the signal fades.
Here's hoping this becomes the soundtrack to your misery,
The hook that rips right through your chest.
Enjoy this constant reminder of your fickle nature,
And the hideous facade you wear so well.
The crowd gasps in awe as my head began to swell,
And the whites of my eyes slowly turned, slowly turned to red.
Just then did gravity created such a dramatic end.
I can only pray that you're tuning in during a moment of clarity,
Just to hear me utter these spiteful words before the signal fades.
Here's hoping this becomes the soundtrack to your misery,
The hook that rips right through your chest.
Enjoy this constant reminder, my double standards,
And the hideous facade I wear so well.
The twilight, projects this message,
To a populous who's turned their backs.
The twilight, screen my words across the sky,
Look up in wonder.
Here's hoping this becomes the soundtrack to your misery,
The hook that rips right through your chest.
Enjoy this constant reminder of your fickle nature,
And the hideous facade you wear so well.
Enjoy this constant reminder, fade as we burn.
Enjoy this constant reminder, fade as we burn.
Enjoy this constant reminder, and the hideous facade you wear so well.

In the midst of life
We are in death.
In loving memory of
GEORGE BROWN
The beloved son of
MARY ANN PINDER,
Who was drowned at Grimsby,
SEPTEMBER 25th 1902.
AGED 27 YEARS.
Gone from us but not forgotten
Never will his memory fade
Sweetest thoughts will ever linger
Around the tomb where he is laid.
George was born in 1875 in the village of California on the coast of Norfolk.
At 16 years old George was an agricultural labourer living at 80 Yarmouth Road, Caister-on-Sea, Norfolk.
Also living at the address were,
Thorp Pinder, 57, a Prudential assurance agent
Mary Ann Pinder, 50. wife
Eva E, Pinder, 12, a scholar
Charlie Pinder, 14, a scholar
Ann Rodgers, 88, mother-in-law, widowed
James Brown, 21, a fisherman
Walter Brown, 19, a fisherman
Lawrence Brown, 17, a fisherman
I am presuming that Mary Ann was married to a man called Brown and she had four sons before marrying Thorp Pinder and that George's three older fishermen brother took him from agriculture to fishing.
George drowned, at Grimsby on Thursday 25th. September 1902, aged 27. At the time of his death he possibly was a crew member on a boat called Newland. He was buried in the Caister Village Cemetery on 7th. October 1902, the Revd. David Wallace Duthie officiating.
In the midst of my studies I have found time to assist and direct photo shoots in collaboration with several brands. Below are a couple extracts from my portfolio of my styling work. I have styled for DJournal, a non-profit magazine that is a creative outlet for contributing individuals, enabling us to freely express our visions without a large amount of restrictions, as well as commercial campaigns, conducted personal styling events as well as endorsed brands and incorporated product placement through outfit posts on my personal style blog, pintsizedfashionista.com.
