First full day on Maui, took a drive around the north side of the island. Spectacular views of the ocean and the best shave ice at Lorraine's in Kahakuloa
This view took our breath away and I regret not having had enough time to explore the area. I do not know if the photo does any justice to the actual landscape. Try View large On Black.
This picture is made of 3 exposures and was rather difficult to get. The camera could not manage to do the correct bracketed exposures and, of several shots, this is the only one that turned out somewhat fine.
BTW, concerning color in flickr, I reduced this image size and it seems to gain in brilliance.
This view of sunrise was from our hotel in Maui. I got to see this beautiful sunrise throughout our stay in Maui :)
