Just another day on Maui. While in Maui, we would set our alarm clock to make sure we could watch the sunset every night. Hope you enjoy it! You are welcome to share, www.lancerogersphotos.com www.instagram.com/lancerogersphotos #GrandWailea, #Hawaii, #Maui, #Sunset

My second evening on the island of Maui, I was treated to this beautiful sunset. I had scouted out this location at Charlie Young Beach, in the town of Kihei, earlier during the day. My lovely bride and I had gone to Charlie Young Beach for some snorkeling and beach relaxation, on the recommendation of our host at the bed & breakfast where we were staying. When I went into the water to snorkel, I immediately saw two Green Sea Turtles along with a huge variety of colorful tropical fish. The island of Lanai is on the right side of the frame at the horizon.

We called this the Hawaiian national bird. Saw them in the country, in the city, along the highways, everywhere.

I took this back in 2003 while in Maui for our wedding. This is over Napili Bay. I recently brought it out of the archives to treat it so I could give it as a Christmas present. It was originally shot on film and later scanned. So, yeah, it's processed a bit. :-)

Big waves in Maui make for great water sport. We saw a bit of everything in the water.

We are home from our epic wedding/honeymoon in Maui! It was an incredible two weeks and we want to thank everyone who followed along and sent their thoughts, prayers and messages our way. We've got a lot of photos and videos to go through and will post some details over the next few weeks!

We just noticed as I was posting this image that it is not from my 5d3, it was from our Sony RX100. This is a great little camera and we really recommend it to everyone. It's really high quality and having a small point and shoot to bring everywhere with us was awesome; we got a lot of photos that we otherwise wouldn't have- until we broke it, of course.

Adam is just starting up his YouTube Channel. There are a couple videos up there now but there will be more to come soon!

Maui, Hawaii: I wish there had been time to build a house out of wood to put inside the stoned off area, but there wasn't enough time. We were on a schedule to get to other activities. I love the fenced-in garden! A flat seashell path leading from the house to the garden would have been nice. Or a tiny pebble path would have worked too.

I can't remember when I have ever seen a rainbow like this. This was the view one afternoon from our hotel room balcony at The Royal Lahaina Hotel on Kaanapali Beach, Maui, Hawaii.

I recently spent the better part of November in Lahaina in Maui, Hawaii on a business trip. I only had time to take my camera on a few walks while I was there. So I didn’t capture all there was to see there, but what I did I think is worthwhile sharing here and hope you like them. As I travel to different areas, I am always so amazed on how different nature is not to mention the culture and scenery. Some things are the same but not much. These photos were taken in Lahaina from the beach walk area. Some of the exotic fowl may not be indigenous to the island and roamed free on the hotel resorts.

Dreaming of Maui.

Less than two months away, been working hard to get back on my feet. No way I am not going. This is Koki Beach and Alau Island in Hana.
