The grounds of the Maui Banyan. We spent our wedding trip of 2008 here, and returned for our first anniversary as well. They take great care of the grounds, and the buildings. And beautiful Kamaole II Beach is right across the road. It was an amazing base camp for our Hawaiian Adventures, and we cannot wait to go back again.

The green sea turtles off Black Rock in Maui were friendly and plentiful. Very graceful animals, they mostly ignored the people admiring them. Until someone brought out some sea weed. I was told the clicking sound was made by shrimp that live in the rocks.
