We met up with our fellow photographer friends on a recent vacation to the island of Maui for a dream photoshoot first at the beach, then in a magical rainforest, and then along the scenic coastline. Such an amazing experience and some of our favourite photos we have taken.

Big waves in Maui make for great water sport. We saw a bit of everything in the water.

Details of the public displays at the renowned Maui Ocean Centre, an education and research station.

Here a young visitor is holding up a detailed brochure that will help her identify most of the fish currently on display. The solitary diver is in the tank for cleaning and maintenance. There are numerous sharks and manta rays visible. Better him/her than me.

We had a little bad luck with the weather during our stay in Maui. It was raining the most time, especially in the evening when I started to unpack my photogear...

The day we left Maui, the weather was perfect. Not one cloud in the sky.......

Many unfamiliar (to me) blooms on Maui. Think this beautiful berry cluster is some variation of Beauty Berry (Callicarpa) but not certain. Just know that I love their colour.
