Origami dot-matrix display, consists of squares (64, in this case, but can have more squares with longer paper) with changeable colour.
I meet this couple and asked if ok to take their photograph. They said why and so on. I just loved the fact they sat whats apping or scanning the news together. From teenagers to adults through until retirement we’re glued to a screen. Are we living in a matrix world?

The Matrix. What is the Matrix?

Twelve years ago I met a man, a
great man, who said that no one
could be told the answer to that
question. That they had to see
it, to believe it.
Her body is against his; her lips very close to his ear.
TRINITY
He told me that no one should look
for the answer unless they have to
because once you see it,
everything changes. Your life and
the world you live in will never
be the same. It's as if you wake
up one morning and the sky is
falling.
The Hyundai Matrix (or Lavita in some markets) was built from 2001 until 2010. The small MPV based on the Elantra was designed by Pininfarina.
Whilst in Paris I caught my daughter crossing a road in her bright red dress. Reminded me of something. hummm
In March 2015 I travelled to Maribor, Slovenia to teach a series of workshops for Creative Week. The event was seven days of hands-on classes lead by talented artists from several different European countries working in a range of mediums. I was this year's special guest from North America. It was great. Creative Week was organized and sponsored by Mihaela Vindis and Primoz Hocevar of Art Trade. They are truly wonderful people. Mihaela and Primoz have three art supply stores in Maribor, and the workshops were held in the Europark Mall, in front of one of their Bead Si locations.
I taught four workshops. One was a full-day class, but the other three were only four hours long. Because I'm used to teaching longer-format 'process' classes (usually two days, and sometimes more), it was a fun challenge for me to develop these new shorter 'project' classes. Drawing on individual techniques from my Cutting Edge curriculum, they had to be complex enough to intrigue and challenge my students, but also simple enough to complete in a short time.
The 'Matrix Remix Pin' class brought together my Matrix Cane system with composite veneer creation, using our Cutting Edge Die Sets as shape templates. The piece shown here is the pin I made to promote the class. I used the 'Long Mantis' Trio Die Set. A little polymer ball and stem, along with a pin finding on the back, completed the piece.
Aah...I simply love clicking photos of jumping people. Taken from my Ttv during the lunch hours @ work!
Thanks Preeti and Nehal for jumping. Your lunch must have digested well. :)

Made for the 2013 MocOlympics over at Mocpages, where my category was to make a scene from Matrix: Reloaded.
The Moc takes place at the Chateau, where Neo fights off the Merovingian's men. While not the best movie, it has some amazing fight scenes.
Viola wittrockiana - These are delicate flowers with five rounded petals. The green leaves are ovate with scalloped edges. These were in a garden in Carmel, New York.

To make the soft-focus striped pattern for these earrings, I used my Blurred Lines technique to crossfade two different Matrix Cane peels into one another. The precise step blend layers were built into slabs with shades and tints of two different hues: blue and yellow. When blended together, the resulting veneer changes in hue, creating the green in between, with a softer version of the original Bargello-inspired layered slabs.
Is it possible you are the one?
Did you decide the color of your pill?
Is the world making any sense to you?
Would you follow the rabbit is you see it?
Do you see green letters dropping all around you?
Do you find yourself dreaming of Carrie-Anne Moss?
Have you ever eaten soup then realized that there is no spoon?
I'm sorry, but if the answer is YES to any of these questions... You are infected with the Matrix effect. Seek help in your local Blockbuster.
