A little while back I had posted a few shots taken with this Yashica-Mat, which was gifted to me by a very good long-time friend (it had belonged to his father). I mentioned I was sending it out to be overhauled, as the shutter was not working well, and cosmetically it had issues. I sent it to Mark Hama to be refurbished. It's back, and he did a great job on it! He not only fixed the shutter and cleaned the optics, but he replaced the old mirror and also replaced the old dried and peeling leatherette covering. There's nothing quite like a vintage classic that has been fully restored to its original glory! Thanks, Mark!!

Due to a shortage of SGM trainsets, two soon to be retired Mat '54 trainsets ('dog face') were deployed on the 'Hofpleinlijn' railway line between The Hague Centraal Station and Rotterdam Hofplein in November 1995. Today, this line is part of the Rotterdam metro network.

I missed the focus / DOF on this, but it's such a nice specimen I thought I'd post it anyway. There are many, many Purple Mats in this area.

De in de oude kleur terug geschilde NS mat`64 419 tijdens een wegleer rit voor machinisten bij Bovenkarspel-Flora op 3-3-2004.

Na aanleiding van veel foto s van groene hondekoppen maar een plaatje weer uit mijn archief.
In 1993 was vanwege het afscheid van de eerste serie mat`54 de 321 weer groen geschilderd en de 359 weer voor zien van wings.
De NS mat`54 321+359 tijdens een NVBS afscheidsrit van Amersfoort naar Groningen via Deventer Zwolle bij Olst op 11-9-1993.

De stichting mat 64 plan V 904 als gezelschapstrein van Nunspeet naar Utecht Maliebaan bij Nijkerk op 30-11-2019.
2 trains consisting of 2 mat '64 EMUs each meet in Driebergen-Zeist.
The 2-car Plan V and the 4-car Plan T on the right just left the station on their way as S 2869 from The Hague to Arnhem, whereas the set approaching (all-station service 19866 from Zutphen to Utrecht) in the background are about to make a longer pause in Driebergen (as can be seen on the position of the switches) in order to be passed by an EC or IC towards Utrecht/Amsterdam.
