We brought these mats back from Kenya when we moved here in 1990. They were very cheap and sturdy and are in use almost every day. It’s amazing to watch the sellers making them. Often at the side of the road in groups making mats, bags and other things as the women gossip and churn them out almost automatically!

De voormalige NS mat`54 766 was voor onderhoud in Leidschendam en was op weg naar Arnhem Goederen maar vanwege werkzaamheden aan de noordboog bij Arnhem Goederen
moest het stel via Zevenaar
kopmaken omdaar alsnog te komen. De mat`54 766 van de hondekop stichting in Zevenaar op 9-10-2022.
27 jaar eerder had ik het zelfde stel ook in Zevenaar toen nog in de NS dienst.

Enkele treinstellen mat '46 vormen de trein naar Amsterdam CS, die zojuist uit het (oude) station Zaandam is vertrokken. De L-borden geven het begin van een tijdelijke snelheidsbeperking aan. In de wandelgangen werden dit LAE-borden genoemd. Op enige afstand staat ook een '6' aangegeven, voor een maximum snelheid van 60 km/h.
De mat`64 904 reed 4 slagen van Amerfoort naar Barneveld Zuid en komt als trein 31437
aan Barneveld Noord op 3-5-2025.
De eer vind ik wel naar Floris gaan voor deze foto omdat hij me op een detail heeft gewezen dat je die goed in beeld erbij kan krijgen.

Rubber Shower Mat... in my opinion, one of the most under appreciated safety items in most households. I like how the shadow and color turned out as well the the tiny suction cup looking large in macro. HMM!!! :)
