Sinds jaar en dag is Zwolle Rangeer dé opstelplaats voor materieel wat zich in de laatste levensfase bevindt: De fase van het niet-meer-te-redden-zijn. Hier wordt het lot nog een handje geholpen door vandalen, die zich kennelijk in grote aantallen naar het terzijdestaand materieel bewegen.
Bijna twintig jaar geleden stond Mat'54 hier ook (www.flickr.com/photos/siccodierdorp/5354750367/), maar toen was het terrein zichtbaar beter onderhouden. In dat rijtje kunnen eveneens Plan U, X en de mP's zich scharen.
Opvallend aan de terzijdestelling van het Mat'64 was wel dat het vandalisme erger dan ooit was. Graffiti, bewoning, ordinaire sloop van het interieur en ga zo maar door.
Ik durf niet na te denken wat er tijdens de volgende stalling op dit terrein gaat gebeuren...

Op 28 augustus 2010 pakken donkere wolken zich samen boven de sloopstellen. Het geheel krijft hierdoor een duister uiterlijk, wat nog meer wordt versterkt door de hier en daar ontbrekende ramen. Een regenboog mag uiteraard niet ontbreken...

I don't know what possessed me to purchase a film camera. I like digital, I like changing ISO on the fly and seeing the completed photos right away. None of this buying packs of Portra, waiting for the negatives so I can scan them in.
Also the thing is backwards in the viewfinder. When I move left the image in the viewfinder moves right! WTH.
One thing cool though that came out of owning this camera already was while I was at the local photo shop buying some film I saw they had bins full of filters for sale at a great price!
I've also been experimenting with off camera flash with my phone as well.
Here’s Mat Sella, the cool dad from Dream Daddy. He’s made from a Fashionista Cool Classic Ken doll with the corn rows, and I rerooted him with yarn to imitate dreadlocks.
I do wish I could customise darker skinned male dolls more often but the fact that articulation is so darn rare and expensive prohibits me from getting more to add to my collection. Since my Dream Daddy custom doll collection is about doing dolls as cheaply as possible, Mat is an exception to my “No stiff modern dolls” rule, but I would like Mattel to make more articulated men of colour soon.
