Mason was very expressive this morning while eating his cheerios. His father grabbed my camera and caught a few funny faces. Good job Duncan.
November 2013
We took a 14 hours drive to Austin, TX by dividing the trek into two days with an overnight stop at Lubbock, TX. This allowed us to visit the beautiful Caprock Canyon State Park in the plains of this big state.
In the process we saw cotton in the fields, abandoned homesteads, Sand Hill Cranes flying their late fall route. We then went almost directly south to see the beautiful city of Fredericksburg before going east to arrive on the southwest side of Austin.
