DIGITAL ONLY. Anfin C. Mason, son of Ole Mickael and Martha A. (Weeks) Mason, was born 8 Dec 1890 in Slater, Iowa and died 1 Aug 1951 in Waterloo, Iowa. On 20 Mar 1912, in Belmond, Iowa, he married Ella Dorothy Sorenson (1891-1989). They are buried in Elmwood Saint Joseph Cemetery, Mason City, Iowa. They had two children: Hale Irving (1914-1984) and Kathryn Lois (1920-1992). Photographer is Susong and Baldwin, Des Moines, Iowa. Cabinet Card.
Dear Mason,
When I arrived in Tombstone I only knew one kid, Travis. After meeting you I saw all of Cochise County and you seemed to know everyone, even the animals.
You gave everything you had without expecting anything in return and opened your home to Wherever you are now Mason, you left us too soon.
I'm honoured you considered me a friend and am glad for the short time we were able to spend together and only wish it was longer.
