Just one shot before I hit the sack of Leah Mason from last night's Mt. Desolation gig at The Lexington in London.
I was kind of annoyed when I found out a second support act was coming on before Mt. Desolation and just wanted them to be over ... until I saw Leah shred as though she'd been playing forever!
After that I was mesmerised, as were most of the people packed into the tiny Lexington. Her soulful voice and rocking tunes have wide appeal and she can play guitar like the best of them. Let's just hope we get to see and hear more from her in the years to come.
The main attraction, Mason Falls. After a good rainfall the falls are spectacular. Mason Falls Circuit at Kinglake.
Mason defender Joshua Grant [center] is mobbed by his teammates as the clock expires. Mason defeated Turpin 1-0 on Grant's goal with 7:28 left in the second half of the Boys Regional Semi Final.
Mason was found and cared for as a stray. After calling six microchip providers, we found out his microchip is untraceable. He is sweet, affectionate and good with other cats, dogs and children. He is in good health, and has a handsome glossy black coat which he spends quite some time grooming. Mason has been with us since April 17th, 2010, enjoying the cat condos in the Memory Lane room and watching the world go by through the window. He seems to have no interest in going back outside, so would be a great cat for an apartment or other small home.

April 22, 2022 - 16th Century Masons' Guild Hall located at Sint-Niklaasstraat 2, 9000 Gent, Belgium. I am not sure when the modern glass addition was added to the building. "The Masons’ Guild House was built in a flamboyant Gothic style opposite the Sint- Niklaaskerk to show off the stone carving skills of the city’s masons. It eventually disappeared behind a later building. People thought it had been demolished and so in 1913 a replica was constructed at Graslei 8. The original was later found during building work and six modern dancing figures were added at the top." The entertainers at the Thredbo Blues Festival last month had me smiling from ear to ear. This little event takes place in the charming alpine village for which it is named, high in Australia’s Snowy Mountains. For two and a half days, the restaurants, bars, and public spaces are bouncing with joyful sounds.
I was introduced to the wonderful Mason Rack Band: when he’s not sounding like Tom Waits growling an old blues-rock standard, Mason Rack is giggling like a mischievous child and telling stories of growing up in a family of entertainers.

Mason City might be the centerpiece of Iowa architecture. We spent at night at the Historic Park Inn, the only hotel designed by Frank Lloyd Wright still operating, and took a stroll through a neighborhood that is home to the Wright-designed Stockman House along with homes by some of his acolytes.
