Can you identify this Team ?
This photograph is one of a series taken by Julian Mason on Saturday 18th July 2009 at Goodwood Motor Racing Circuit in West Sussex (UK) prior to the start of "The Mongol Rally 2009" ... a tough rally driving event requiring Teams to make it all the way (about 10,000 miles) to Ulaanbaatar (the capital city of Mongolia) ... usually in small second-hand cars. The harder it is ... the more hazards that are overcome ... then the more successful your rally is considered to be. Making it all the way from the UK to Ulaanbaatar / Mongolia is a huge achievement.
Found some better pictures of the wee winged mason, I think it must be a wasp with a waist like that. Its easier to see how tiny it is too. I love the tiny primitive eye bobbles they have on the top of their heads as well as their bigger compound eyes. It must be really handy having eyes in the back of your head!
