Soon.....

(PS we politely ask RPers avoid visiting the ground floor of alohomora until further notice, to avoid spoiling anything for you!)

I managed to persuade my Wife that it would be a good idea to go to the beach for the day as we have not had a holiday so far this year.

I am not sure that she realized i meant starting on the beach at 4.30:-)

We did have a splendid sunrise followed by coffee on the beach and eggs benedict at a very nice little cafe near by. We then sat and watched Porthcawl start to wake up.

On the down side, she got a better beach shot than me, She has a smug look on her face.

The second brood of house sparrows has been hatched and Snow White has already taken a strategic position. All the chicks from the first brood luckily managed to escape our cats...

Tricky photo to make this time as the difference in contrast between the building and the landscape was so large and trying to catch the trees and hillside resulted in a lot of flare from the lights on the building that had to be managed. In the end about 4 photos went into making this one picture.

Mechanic Jo's shop has been very busy ever since it opened. I managed to catch this photo of her mounting a tire for one of her customers :-)

Mr T and I did manage to have our walk in Wytham Woods - one week later! We parked in Wytham village to take the long route there. These are a few of the pretty cottages in Wytham.

"Wytham, a small but thriving village, lies 4 miles north west of Oxford City Centre. Formerly owned by the Earls of Abingdon, for several hundred years, Wytham is now owned by Oxford University.

Despite having a population of only about 120, Wytham village attracts many visitors who come to see this special, un-touched place. They comment on the tranquility of the village and its rural setting despite its proximity to Oxford and to main road communications (A34 and M40).

The village boasts a village shop, All Saints Church, the White Hart pub/restaurant and the world-famous Wytham Woods (known for its long term research projects based on its unique woodland environment)." www.wytham-village.org.uk/

Managed to get 10 minutes down at Parton shore between the rain stopping and then starting again. Not impressed with the weather this weekend! :-(

Managing aggressiveness

Managed to catch the last dregs of the sunset with this 30 second exposure. The colors that came out are amazing and I love the blue of the sky with the stars shining out. No post-processing on this one except for straightening.

... would you find a personal assistant above a managing director?

I managed to finally drag myself out for a gentle wander around the lanes. Just before coming across this puddle, I had noticed movement in the woods to the left. I kept looking, as it didn't seem to be a dog, and realised there were two roe deer there.

After feeling poorly all week, this cheered me up, although it certainly didn't cure my cough :-(

Taken on the River Tavy near Bere Ferrers this Little Egret took off really close to me and I managed a couple of in focus full frame shots, albeit clipping his foot a little.

Managed to grab a quick shot before if flitted off never seem to stay still long. Lovely little birds can be quite confiding so when one strikes A pose for the camera I grab it !!

Please do not use my images in any way without my permission they are copyright protected !!

Please take A look in Large !! press L

Thanks to everyone that takes the time and makes the effort to comment and fave my pics its very much appreciated

Regards Clive

I managed to catch the sun just peeping over the horizon. The trees and fields are still in shadow, but to the west you can see the towers of Toronto gleaming in the dawn's rays.

On June 22, 1979, I paid $20 for two hours flight time with a stunt pilot out of Provo, Utah Municipal Airport. Between several breathtaking ‘weightless’ dives over Utah Lake, I managed to capture a few Kodachrome images of landmarks, including this view of the Rio Grande, Union Pacific, and Utah Railway yards in Provo. Of interest is the presence of Timpanogos Golf Course along University Avenue and 9th South. The UP-UTAH car shop and turntable can be seen near the old Utah Railway office buildings. To the right, you can make out the Rio Grande passenger depot and the old wye between PDM and the Provo cemetery.

Managed a half hour slot to take some photos of the Forth & Clyde canal near a village called Allandale. Beautiful clear reflections today.

Managed to get out and re-take picture that I have taken a while ago at Spurn point. Thank you all for looking and all faves and comments are greatly appreciated.

Managed to get above the clouds and from the miradouro was amazed to see this rainbow over the town.

I had just managed to zip around Paris (not Hilton BTW) and had fired the Zogmobile to a little place called Chateaudun........here I rested, had a coffee(it does beat wine for breakfast) and watched this town wake up.

It was 8am god damn it!!!!!!!!!! and people were moving about.......making their way to work, going home to the wife or having said their goodbyes to their lover had made their way to the cheese factory to spend the next 12 hours putting those blue veins in that particularly pungent fromage.

And the sun began to shine.

Managed to get the last bit of the sun before it setting down for the day -Hangnaameedhoo, Maldives

Managed a better shoot last Sunday but same as past experience with this babbler, they came out for a minutes or so and disappear in the woods again. xlolx

Managed to catch the sunset just in time!!

I managed to take a quick walk on the golf course today while it was still sunny. Later it clouded up and started to rain. I don't play golf and have no intention to ever do it but I like the golf course because I think it's beautiful. The sign basically says that the place is private property (as it belongs to the local golf club) but that you are allowed to use the public paths which lead across the golf couse, as long as you don't step on the fairway and keep your dog on lead. It also says that if you cross the golf course you do it at your own risk, which means that if you are hit by a golf ball it's your own fault and not theirs. :)

I managed to narrow down to 18 pictures from today to upload, and I'm going to upload them 3 a day :)

Today I went for a shoot with Ylana, Clem and Gemma and it was delightful :D I took a good mixture of stuff too :) most of them are of Ylana, aha, then most of the Clem ones are hand shots, and then I barely shot Gemma, but Ylana took so many of her that I think it makes up for it aha.

I hope you all enjoy them! :)

So yeah, I'm back! :D I promise I have a couple of photoshoots in the pipeline, and I'm going to try to shoot more regularly, and I'll spread the pictures from shoots over a longer period so there is more new stuff for you all to feast your eyes on :) and maybe in a few weeks if I have the money I'll buy pro :D so we'll see what happens :)

managed to get out in the garden to get some photos of the bluebells .... :)

Managed to get another Athearn GP40-2 done. The prototype photo I used for reference was from RailPictures.net and was taken in 1999. www.railpictures.net/photo/55432/. You will notice some detail differences between the prototype and the model. The model is as the loco would have been in 1984 when painted into this scheme. However, I liked the look of this as it is in this photo so decided just to go with it. The locomotive was originally Western Pacific 3553 with a build date of Apr 1980. UP renumbered it to the 900 series in April 1984 and then to 9988 in Jan 2003.

I managed to book myself on a tour of Subsea 7 building in Sutton this morning as part of Open House London. Really well organised tour that included finding out a lot about the building itself plus the staff wellbeing programme.

Met Sean Batten and his wife Wendy on the tour. You can check out their talented streams here.

First of all don't look at my hand it has got as many layers of msc on it as the doll's face has.

Now I still need to glue her mouth.

The finished doll will be photographed tomorrow. Just to be sure I'll leave her head off the body so the mouth is able to dry all night without any friction.

She's not my Punzie, she turned out different than I imagined.

Although I do like her I won't be heart broken if her face up would ever get damaged and maybe it is better that way

Managed to pull this off within 5 hours last year, got away before i could clean it up and add more too it

Finally managed to dust off the camera and take a hike to a small bay I have not visited before. There is no proper path down because few people visit it. So you do have to be mindful of your ankles as you wouldn't want the paramedics coming to rescue you in this spot! The lonely boathouse and topography give a feeling of the Faroes, somehow, rather than Skye.

Managed to catch some of the setting light toningt in the park near the allotments. Was disappearing behind the hill so quickly as somebody was switching off the light..

Hope your weekend is all nice and pleasent!

SOOC and crop.

Finally managed to combine some work with some fun. After visiting a customer in the North part of Holland I headed for the small town of Marken to shoot the lighthouse. We sailed past this one last year and it was on my "to-shoot" list for a while.

The weather was gray, rainy and no sun to be seen, even the guy living in the lighthouse told me that I was crazy shooting in these conditions. After a 30 min. walk to this location, I managed to get a couple of decent shots, more to follow in the next week.

Next stop: Den Haag, NL! ;-)

Managed to get out this afternoon for a few more Marsh Harrier shots. Nice to see them quite active. Male was in flight & distant so only records

Yay, managed to get up to London yesterday after too long an absence. I had wanted to capture this artwork and was very happy when the car park space in front of it was vacant. Just as I was about to press the shutter a car drove into the space, the driver got out and said, sorry, and headed towards the ticket machine. I was quietly cursing under my breath, when lo and behold, he got back in his car and drove away - either a parking restriction, too expensive or his conscience got the better of him ... I would like to think the latter but know it was one of the first two mentioned ...

My son's band, Megalomatic, on a recent photoshoot in the old, ruined torpedo testing station in Loch Long near Arrochar. Today they announced that they now have a manager onboard :)

Managed to get away from the desk for a quick snap in the woods during a foggy day!

Managed to capture the last of the colour from the sunset at Bosham Harbour before the storm clouds arrived.

The still water provided a nice reflection of the threatening dark clouds
