I'm still enchanted and mesmerized by my stay at the historic Hotel Fort Des Moines for business travel this week.
This beautiful, old hotel, where former celebrities, foreign royalty and presidents alike have stayed, has captured both my heart and my imagination. I have researched that it originally opened in 1919.
I hope to stay here again on my next trip to Des Moines, for business or for pleasure.

You're having a look at your buddy's prize bull. His phone rings, and he takes off in his truck, saying he'll be right back. Now it's just you and this monstrously muscled and wickedly horned bull... who starts giving you the 'stink-eye', snortin' and pawin' the ground.
And, as usual, the gate is on the OTHER side of the bull.
Luckily for you in the middle of the field there is a GREAT shade tree with low limbs, just the right size for climbing out of trouble.... or so you think.
