I'm still enchanted and mesmerized by my stay at the historic Hotel Fort Des Moines for business travel this week.
This beautiful, old hotel, where former celebrities, foreign royalty and presidents alike have stayed, has captured both my heart and my imagination. I have researched that it originally opened in 1919.
I hope to stay here again on my next trip to Des Moines, for business or for pleasure.

Dalí Theatre-Museum. The hair is actually only a few inches from the camera while the lips couch, nose and eyes are across the room.
Combining a random quote with one of my photos. Hope to do one of these a week for a while.
