Someone lost their lure and left it hanging in the tree. I wisht there were some way to make Monofilament line break down more quickly, it's great to fish with but when it is left behind the results can be real tragic for wild lift.
Lake Lure is nestled in the in the heart of Hickory Nut Gorge, east of Asheville, North Carolina and was the location of the movie Dirty Dancing.
This shot is from early last autumn when the leaves were green and the sky was so blue!
She had gotten to the club early, wanting a peaceful swim. Several laps later, she climbed out of the pool just as the door swung open and someone else entered. Spotting a lounger in the sun, she squeezed the water from her hair, passing a man she'd never seen there before. "You're all wet..." he offered with a small grin. Her eyes took him in from head to toe, pausing at what was clearly a well filled pair of shorts and as she made her way to the lounger, smiled to herself. It wouldn't be another dull day of sunning after all. He made his way to the ladder, stretching a bit, and she perched on the lounger, reaching up to her bikini which clung to her like plaster, and teased the knot open, displaying her assets to his view. As he dove into the water, he caught sight of her, swimming closer and lifting himself out of the pool in front of her. Before long, "all wet" was a definite understatement.

Yet another idea for a still shot that has been kicking around in my mental dustbin for a while. These are all fishing lures, shot using the heat lamp for lighting. I thought the colors might make for an interesting shot. They always say that the color of a lure catches the fisherman more than the fish, although all of these have caught fish at some point (the scar on the bottom of the blue one is from a walleye's teeth). 24JAN10

Think this is the male. He was carrying his gift dilligently and when the other saw him she tossed hers away and lured him into the bushes...lol

Continuing on with my antique series, the subject here is color, and patterns. A lure is a work of art in itself. Crafted perfectly not for me or you, but for they eyes of unsuspecting fish going about his little fish life eating and swimming, what a life.
