There are several gorgeous homes surrounding Lake Lure. This one is not directly on the lake (though probably has a dock and boat house not visible). I shot this from the viewing platform at Chimney Rock with a telephoto lens.

A top water lure pinged across the surfac of the water. Took 200 plus shots to get 6 in focus. Camera in a fish tank on a platform so that the wide angle lense was half in and half out the water (inside the tank). Set the focus and depth of field. Remote flash to the left to brighten up the lure's vivid colours. Remote shutter in hand I kept drag the lure and firing off shots. Well worth it.
