The view from the bridge. Ferry Lane, Tottenham Lock, Haringey, London.

I'm continuing my retrospective look on 2019 and found this one that I took last May, here in Michigan. The worldwide YourShot community gave me a better understanding of shooting under low-light conditions, especially the way fog can impact light. Here is sunrise over the Holloway Reservoir in Genesee County. When I saw the sun fighting through the fog, I couldn't resist it.

Happy Holidays, all!

Gastown is the original settlement that became the core of the creation of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Currently, it is a national historic site and a neighbourhood in the northwest end of Downtown Eastside, adjacent to Downtown Vancouver.

Gastown is the historic core of Vancouver, and is the city's earliest, most historic area of commercial buildings and warehouses.

Anytime, day or night that you visit Gastown, there always seems to be street artists present in this exact location.

This particular night (at 10:30 P.M.), the artist was busily working under the light of the street lamp.

A special thanks to all my Flickr friends and visitors, for taking the time to view and acknowledge my photography.

I would also, like to extend my thanks, to all those who place my images in their beautiful galleries, or use my images for their covers.

Additionally, I am truly humbled to receive so many thoughtful and generous testimonies. I cannot express how deeply touched and honoured I am, to find such caring and beautifully written words left on my behalf.

Happy Clicks

The bridge at Croome. It was windy and cold but beautiful.

Have a great week end everyone!

This was my first visit to Durdle door. I went right down to the shoreline, but it was so still with no clouds and it didn't really 'do it' for me, but the view from the top was more my thing and it gave me a chance to get my breath back, lol! I didn't know it was a bit of a trek and I had taken everything I might have needed, the only thing I left behind was the kitchen sink :)

The word "durdle" means drill in Old English. Durdle Door is a natural limestone arch.

THANK YOU ALL FOR ALL THE LIKES AND KIND COMMENTS IT'S SO APPRECIATED :)

Took the shot during hide and seek between clouds and the moon last night.

Here's a very rare photo of Joey - he was actually outdoors late at night and it's dark. As soon as I finished taking a few difficult shots of him, I picked him up and carried him indoors. 😁

I normally don't allow him outside the house at night but he went over to the neighbor's house around late evening and didn't return until way past 9 pm.

The only camera I had with me at the time was my phone, so I used that as an impromptu photographic device. I didn't want to get my proper camera as Joey would have wandered off if I left him in the backyard.

Leaving Leadenhall Market... and back to the car.

Here the full moon was partially covered by clouds on its lower third.

This is the Buck Moon on July 13, 2022. Captured from my tripod as I sat on a sandy beach.

We've had thick fog that past couple of days, and the heavy frost lasted all day yesterday. This was taken just before dark on my home from work. Numb fingers!!

4th and last image in my July Full Moon series...

When a person sees the moon hanging in the night sky and glowing gold like this, is it any wonder that humans from the dawn of time have waxed poetic in wonder from such a sight?!!

Captured with my tripod, my D500, and the 200-500mm lens...

Stars added for a more 3-D effect...

Enlarge for the most immersive view.

Enjoy.
