At the brink of blue hour, this afterburner sunset lit up the Metro Vancouver ( south/west ) sky for New Year's Day/Evening.
The image was captured at Steveston's Harbour.

The colours were so intense that my camera's sensor had trouble reading the sky.
People were absolutely mesmerized by this surprise light show that took to the sky.
The sunset magically appeared in hues of intense pink, purple, orange and yellow. A colourful contrast to the blue hour.
It had been drizzling light rain and the sky grew dark, turning into a typical winter's night, when out of no where appears this NEW YEAR encore.
I had to drop the saturation during processing, however the image still remains vibrantly coloured and lit.
Happy 2020 !

Leadenhall Market is a covered market in London. Its cobbled walkways and glass roof make it an attractive place to shop, eat and drink or simply to relax in the heart of the City of London
I caught sight of the tunnel on the way back to Lydstep after seeing a glorious sunset at Little Haven. I stopped to explore.

Scotch Pond
Scotch Pond is a historic moorage site
Scotch Pond consists of a pond, originally a slough, dredged in the early 1950s and connected by a channel to the Strait of Georgia. Along with the pond are the remains of wooden boardwalk pilings which run directly along the south edge of the pond and were constructed in 1899 as part of the Scottish Canadian Cannery operation.

Captured a couple of years ago, this image features a grand old mansion silhouetted against the sunset sky.
This is a landmark in our city and was originally built and owned by a successful entrepreneur from a bygone era.

The early morning fog after a night of snow made for an interesting look on this day in southeastern Michigan at the close of November, 2021.
We had no luggage for the first 8 days of our safari, and my only mono-pod was packed in that missing luggage, so I had to make do on low-light shots.
I used a railing out back of an Italian restaurant we were dining in to get this shot.

Greetings my friends. Sorry to be behind on commenting once again. I hope you are all well and enjoying life.
I have been a bit busy recently, I am grateful that it has been in a productive way.
This week will be a busy week.
Partly because my birthday is on the 24th. I hope people count me a year wiser and not just older. I have reached a point my age feels more like a number than a defining fact.
