This was tricky to get. Luke didn't want to cooperate with me and after many...many attempts he FINALLY walked toward me stepping into the sunlight casting on the floor.
To make matters worse, I used my Samsung Galaxy S7 and shot RAW to have somewhat flexible dynamic range but phones are still pretty limited so a bit of his fur is blown out but I still like it!
Exercise on low key lighting.
Side light through a window.
Manual exposure mode.
Spot metering mode.
WB Cloudy fine-tune +1.

Having recently watched a FacebookLive with Gavin Hoey, who did a smoke tutorial. I dug out my smoke images from a few years ago & repurposed them with some glass also taken a while back. Great fun to do, & keeps the Photoshop skills going.
