This tiny pine cone almost looks like a flower.
The background is black photo paper facing away from the light and I used spot meterering.
I love the rim light on the last seed scales.

Standing on a small lens cap - this cool cat has what I can only describe as "David Bowie eyes".
The other band members in the group must be related; they have the same eye colours.

Another year, another round in the 52Frames challenge.... The decision to be part of it again was not difficult for me. There is no better way to reinvent your own way of photography, week after week!
Since I did a high key self-portrait last year and the year was anything but good due to pandemic, I thought I have to try it a little darker this year. I used my beloved 24 wide-angle lens. It's not easy to capture a good portrait with it, but in the end somehow different and cool in my eyes.
