A close up view of an Imperial Stormtrooper in one sixth scale. A straightforward shot metering on the face with windowlight from the right and no reflectors. I used a matt black A3 card as background.
This tiny pine cone almost looks like a flower.
The background is black photo paper facing away from the light and I used spot meterering.
I love the rim light on the last seed scales.

A low-key test. I'd be glad to know how you'd improve this one. I know there is too much noise but do you find it horrible?
An attempt at a low key effect, using an earring on black velvet, low light & a torch. Advice on how to improve this technique would be appreciated.
