Vanilla cactus (Selenicereus grandiflorus)
Ein sehr unscheinbare Kaktuspflanze, die nur für eine Nacht im Jahr diese wunderschönen Blüten hervor bringt.
A really unremarkeble plant who brings out this beautiful blossoms only for one night a year.
when she didn't want her photo taken, for once. :P

I set out to make an image that looks like the opposite of yesterday's kitty photo.

These are the vintage bottles I bought at Cambridge Market yesterday. I had decided I wanted to use the bottles for today's shot but didn't have a chance to take a photo before it was dark so did some light painting, it could be better and I don't think this was the best subject but after seeing it done recently, I wanted to have a go, I've done some light painting but not in total darkness before. The cobwebs are from my garage, not my idea but a tip from someone else. I thought they would go well with the bottles. I will try this again with a more interesting background when I have more time.
Wildfires in the area have filled the air with smoke, turning the sun a bright, but subdewed, orange. My thoughts and prayers are with the families that have suffered through this wildfire season and Godspeed to those who are actively fighting the blaze, I wish every success!
Unearthed after long stay in the soil . It appears to be the 'Dinky Toy' model of the Peugeot 203 . That car was produced in France in the late 1940s and 1950s .
Compositionally Challenged Week 5 is Dutch Angle.
Playing around with different positions and angles, my eye was drawn back to all the different, angles in this shot.
