The roots is what you have, everybody got their roots. It depends on the person how deep the roots go. If you have them or if you want to find them, it's up to the person.

Wat Sra Sri is a beautiful wat located on an island surrounded by a pond. Just entering the wat is a beautiful experience as you have to cross a bridge. On the island you will see a Sri Lankan-style mounded chedi and walking Buddha in Sukhothai style.
Sukhothai was the first capital of Siam founded by King Ramkhamhaeng during the 13th Century. The province's temples and monuments have been restored and is now the Sukhothai Historical Park and has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
I liked this simple, but yet elegant wat so much I posted three photographs of it (see the comments section to see the other two).
Which one do you like the best?

The beautiful city of Ayutthaya, Thailand was founded in 1350 by King U-Thong and was the capital of what was then known as Siam. This is Wat Phu Khao Thong or the “Monastery of the Golden Mount”.

The first Heidelberg bridge was built by Karl Theodor (1742-1799), which explains it's official name "Karl-Theodor-Brücke". The double-armed bridge gate comes from the late middle ages. The towers served the bridge keeper not only as an apartment, but also as a dungeon for prisoners. In 1945 both rooms above the gateway were refurbished as artistic apartments.
The two towers at the southern end of the bridge, called the Brückentor (Bridge gate) can be seen here.

A simple electronic thumbprint and a visa stamp good for 90 days was all it took for the immigration officer to welcome me into the beautiful country of Malaysia. All said and done in under 5 minutes! What a great start to exploring a new country.
I departed out of Singapore’s lovely Changi Airport by way of the ultra cool and on-time AirAsia airline, which I would use through out my Southeast Asia journey (rule of thumb: if a bus ride would take more than ten hours I booked an AirAsia flight). This would be a one hour flight from Singapore into Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. A simple up and down ride.
So with the no paperwork to fill out or visa fees to pay, I grabbed a taxi to take me to my downtown hotel. I checked into my room and the first place I headed to was Kuala Lumpur’s iconic landmark and crown jewel, the Petronas Twin Towers.
After a short monorail ride (yes, they have a cool monorail system in Kuala Lumpur) and walk, I arrived at the 88-story twin tower structure, that upon its completion in 1998, was the tallest building in the world until it was surpassed in 2004 by Taipei 101 in Taiwan. It is still the tallest twin building in the world and it easily recognized by its famous skybridge.
From this point of view it looked like two rockets taking off!
