Paris, France - April 2020: during the COVID-19 lockdown, a pigeon is resting on the stairs of the paved forecourt of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart (Basilique du Sacré-Cœur) in Montmartre.
The Cristo Rei statue was constructed during a deeply religious period of Portugal's history, by a population who were grateful for avoiding the horrors of the Second World War. This religious outpouring was embraced by the nationalistic dictatorship lead by Salazar and encourage by the church. This important religious significance of the Cristo-Rei Christ Statue has continued through to today and the site is an important pilgrimage destination but most foreign visitors go for the impressive panoramic views over Lisbon.

The architecture of the Pasadena, California City Hall was influenced by the early Renaissance style of 16th century Italian architect Andrea Palladio. Construction on the building was completed 1927.

This place has a crazy reflection of a forest in a little lake. The shape of the trees is just amazing.

One of the most outstanding structures within the compound of Wat Phra Kaew is the Phra Si Rattana Chedi (Sri Lankan style), which enshrines relics of the Buddha.
This main Stupa was erected by King Rama IV in 1855 and regarded as the most sacred in the Royal Chapel. In the hollow interior is a smaller stupas containing sacred Buddha relics. King Rama V had the exterior covered with golden mosaic tiles imported from Italy. This stupa was built in imitation of one of the three stupas at Wat Phra Si Sanphet which was the Royal Chapel in the old capital of Ayutthaya.

SWG3 in Eastvale Place, Glasgow is an arts space and features regularly changing wall art on the surrounding buildings, as I was photographing this piece of a woman wearing sunglasses, I noticed that the sun, on a dazzlingly bright day was directly overhead. Crouching down to a low angle, I was able to get real flare into the picture.
Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral (French: Cathédrale Marie-Reine-du-Monde) is a minor basilica in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and the seat of the Roman Catholic archdiocese of Montreal.
It is the third largest church in Quebec after St. Joseph's Oratory and the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré east of Quebec City.

The City of London is the historic heart of London. This area was already a bustling trading post almost 2000 years ago when it was part of the Roman Empire. Many of the irregular streets still follow the ancient Roman roads. The boundaries of the City also loosely follow the path of the Roman wall that was built here in the 2nd century AD.
Today the City is a mostly commercial district dominated by the stately buildings and skyscrapers that house offices for the finance industry. There are however plenty historical landmarks that were built in an era when the City was still densely populated. The star here is the majestic St. Paul's Cathedral, but there are also noteworthy civil structures such as the Guildhall and the Leadenhall Market. And the Museum of London, which is appropriately located in the oldest part of London, documents the tumultuous history of the city.
Because of its rich history, winding streets and plethora of historical landmarks, The City, or Square Mile, nears the top of the best places to photograph London. You could spend an entire day (or night) in the area. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and plan to explore the area with your camera.

Que conste que no la iba persiguiendo, que yo estaba tan tranquilo haciendo una foto de un callejón cuando se metió por medio.
