This little Hoary Edge Skipper was all over the lantana, really enjoying it, and offering some really nice poses in the process.
I never really appreciated how cute these little Skippers are until I saw other photos of them here on Flickr. Now I love them. But they're so small and fast you really can't get a good look at them unless you get a photo of one.
Seen at Dauset Trails Nature Center in the Children's Garden.
Here the father potoo came to protect and feed the baby potoo. A very touching moment. It was a blessing being there.

This is in loving memory of my Uncle Billy- my Mom's brother and only sibling. He was a great and kind man, could always make you laugh. He passed away this afternoon. God bless his soul.

I love Lisbon sidewalks, as you can see, this is my third shot in the floor of Lisbon.
And these lines make it even better, I really like the glow that turns up in these lines with different kinds of light.

The hiking we did on the Chikanishing Trail was a beautiful distraction. I was sitting on those pink granite rocks while the wind cooled me down after a moderate hike to get this spot. The sounds of the water lapping on the shores and the birds singing in the bushes along the shore, were soothing. I did not feel old, nor did I feel young. I just felt alive.
When Christmas approaches the mood of loving and spending time with loves ones is more essential than ever. This is my contribution for the theme in Photosunday "candle(s)"
