Captivated by morning light on the Tamarack left standing prominently on this cleared water view lot, I returned for a another set of captures ... this one with unconverted camera.
Just one of many displays under renovation and their all FREE! Shallow DOF, had to shoot at wider aperture to keep shutter speed up since handheld.
Sorry for so many photos, just saving some from a recent visit to the model trains renovation at Union Station. Still in progress, lots of dust etc. on the displays. Didn't get any descent train photos, only a few running.

The Tanah Lot temple was built and has been a part of Balinese mythology for centuries. The temple is one of seven sea temples around the Balinese coast. Each of the sea temples were established within eyesight of the next to form a chain along the south-western coast. However, the temple had significant Hindu influence.

I won an auction lot several week ago of expired films. This was a photographer's stash and was stated by the auction house to be "well stored". A photographer should know how to store film, but who really knows what "well stored" means. I risked it and got the lot at a good price. Not as good as my $2 box, but a good price for 60 + rolls. When I got them in the mail today they were sent in freezer bags. Not a guarantee, but a very good sign that they actually were stored well.

All images had to be in Jpeg, No Post Processing except what the camera allows, just one image per category, we had to return to our groups meeting place, the Great Wakering Royal British Legion Club by 3.00 pm.
The images were downloaded to our club laptop and were stored for judging by two independent judges, the results will be declared at our Photography Group meeting Thursday 11th April 2024.

Once the allocation of Westbury outstation, the Discover fleet moved with its closure to the main Bath depot. Seen in driving rain, B7RLEs parked up are 69501, 69508, 69506, 66726 and 69510.
Tanah Lot was founded by the Javanese priest Danghyang Nirartha in the 16th century. Legend has it that he slept on the site one evening, and afterwards suggested that the Balinese build a sacred temple on that spot. The temple is one of the six cardinal temples in Bali that are strung out in a line down the west coast, and on a clear day you can see all the way to another cardinal temple, Pura Uluwatu on the southwestern coast of the Bukit Peninsula. As one of Bali’s many sea temples that are meant to honor the gods and goddesses of the ocean, this is a sacred site that is revered by many Balinese Hindus.
Tanah Lot is a temple located in the south of Tabanan, It looks like a floating one if the tide is high but when tide is low, people can walk to the Temple. Tanah Lot also famous for sunset.
I was there while waiting for sunset before dinner meeting. Not really like it because too touristic, but now I wish can teleported myself there instead stay at home until I feels loosing myself lately.
Tanah Lot is a rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali. It is home of a pilgrimage temple, the Pura Tanah Lot (literally "Tanah Lot temple") and a popular tourist and cultural icon for photography and general exoticism.
The area leading to Tanah Lot is highly commercialized and people are required to pay to enter the area. To reach the temple, visitors must walk through a carefully planned set of Balinese market-format souvenir shops which cover each side of the path down to the sea. On the mainland cliff tops, restaurants have also been provided for tourists.

Pura Tanah Lot (Tanah Lot Temple) is Hindu Temple.
Located about 20 km from Denpasar, the temple sits on a huge offshore rock which has been shaped continuously over the years by the ocean tide.
Tanah Lot means "Land in the Middle of the Sea" (in Balinese language) is a famous rock formation off the Indonesian island of Bali.
Note: It is a fantastic place to view beautiful dramatic sunsets. Every day at dusk, tourists throng the area to witness the magnificent silhouette of the temple against the glowing horizon.

Rocamadour est un petit village en bord de falaise, au sud du centre de la France. Il est connu pour sa Cité religieuse, un complexe d'édifices religieux accessible par le Grand escalier. Parmi ces bâtiments se trouvent la chapelle Notre-Dame, avec sa statue de la Vierge noire, et la basilique Saint-Sauveur, d'architecture romane-gothique. La forêt des singes, un parc où les macaques vivent en liberté, se situe au nord-est. Le parc ornithologique du Rocher des aigles se trouve à l'ouest.

What a great sky this morning. I grabbed this shot out the second floor window this morning because I knew I wouldn't be able to get out and get a shot before the moment passed. Then I saw today's challenge and thought, "Lots of colour in that sky!"
