Not a lot of official source images for this one so I decided to deviate from the many fan-made images and make the interceptor wings basically S-Foil replacements. This makes more sense for landing and it looks pretty cool imo.
Looks like my brother is out of ammo. That's Paul, one of my brothers. He was so happy to see this rifle when we visited the Irish Military Museum histor near Collon, County Louth, Ireland. He trained with the same rifle when he was an Army Reservist. He was saying that my dad had the same rifle when he was in WWII.
Just a flash or two of lightning but this storm only resulted in a trace of rain. Taken 1 May during late afternoon.
In March I visited Belle Haven Marina and posted a shot of a lonely-looking solo Osprey on a barren platform; I wondered then if a mate would arrive and a nest be built (flic.kr/p/RwteSk).
I'm happy to report that all seems well. This couple should do well as fishing seems to always be good on the Potomac River. This nest has an excellent view of the National Harbor/MGM Complex across the river and the white you see in the background is the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. This 6,700-ft, 12-lane bridge is the only bridge in the United States to span 3 different jurisdictions, Virginia, DC and Maryland.
Muchas mañanas, me subo al río y además de no pasar calor siempre encuentro motivos para fotografiar.
En este caso una toma frontal de una hembra Calopteryx haemorrhoidalis.
En este tipo de fotografía utlizo siempre un momopod.

Many mornings, I get on the river and besides not spending heat I always find reasons to photograph.
In this case a frontal shot of a female Calopteryx haemorrhoidalis.
In this type of photography I always use a momopod.

Yes a little winter , these early snow puts an end at the warming up? Now we have real autum weather and lets hope for a little winter time at the end of the year.
Looks like some sharp roots lurking just under the water. Low water on Lake St. Lawrence has made for some interesting sightings of tree stumps that would otherwise be submerged.
