I have no idea what happened to cause such a scene but they sure are cute!

 

From what I gather so far, this seems like the typical swallow scene: there's always one screaming at another, one reacting to the scream and there's always at least one that looks indifferent to the happenings. They're so entertaining!

With the blue end leading, 88010 in it's new livery sweeps by Abington loops with 4Z75 Mossend Euroterminal - Daventry. This working was running as such due to the national railway strike.

Same hill as below a couple of months on, minus the geese. There was a field of ostriches behind me, maybe I should have photoshopped some of them onto the brow of the hill :-)

This Ring-billed Gull loves to perch on a sign by the lake and give us disapproving looks as we walk by.
