BNSF's Northtown-Galesburg train HNTWGAL1-08A passes east through Trempealeau, Wisconsin on a snowy winter afternoon. Two EMDs are on the point, a GE is on the rear in DPU mode, and there are 109 loads and 46 empties between 'em. Train weighs in at 15,590 tons and 9,555 feet.
A Tricoloured munia (Lonchura malacca) was foraging in an early morning palatable grass seeds with joy. The backdrop made it fascinating with all its colours flourishing against greenish yellow bokeh. Pics was taken from Baruipur, West Bengal, India.
Talsi is is a town in Latvia. It is the administrative centre of Talsi Municipality. It is nicknamed the "green pearl of Courland".
What is interesting in Talsi- when you walk old cobbled streets, you can see paintings on the walls of the town and see how the place looked like years ago...Here for example is a painting from 1985. In next photo you will see how the place looks like now, July or August 2023

London United’s SP40102 is pictured on Castelnau about to head for Fulwell whilst working on route 33. At the time of posting, it looks like the bus only did one rounder so a very lucky snap!
Looks like Brachystomella parvula.
It has 8 ocelli with a large PAO, but the PAO has not the usual red color in this one.
Found in Tenerife, Puerto de la Cruz, near Playa Jardín between leaves on the ground.
