Sometimes, this is just the way it has to be. Not every old dog can get out when they want.

It's my simple pleasure to take pictures ... and it doesn't matter if it's nature, architecture, macros, people or animals. The main thing is that it will be a good picture. Sometimes this works well, sometimes less ....

SIMPLE PLEASURE is the topic for Tuesday 29 October, Group Our Daily Challenge

Exploring further Tomioka Auto Yashinon 55mm f1.2 will take some time. For optical purists and pixel peepers, modern gear junkies, this would be one of those famous old lenses that will fail every modern test.

Yes it is soft and often glows wide open, yes it never gets clinically sharp as modern primes, yes it produces loads of coma, flare, name it. Yes, if you just step few feet away and there is any nature in background, it gives wildest of wild bokehs.

Yet, somehow images taken with her stick out of the crowd. All those imperfections just brew together to potentially tasty images.

This is part of a 'series' I'm experimenting with now called 'Obstaculum'.

My presence around Flickr will be sporadic at best over the next few weeks.

Just been completely swamped with every other calibre & form of time-occupation. Forgive me for not being able to visit more frequently.

Just need some time to step out of body and clear my head a bit.

take care all.

Any light is good light. Some light is better than other light. I liked the light at this point.

Yesterday we woke to a fall of snow. I knew before I even opened the curtains, because of the silence. It's as though someone had put a carpet on the ground outside and all the noise was dampened... :)

Life has a been a little busy lately but I will catch up in the next day or two. Wishing you all a great weekend!

Took today My Canon 20D with 50mm 1.8 for a ride on an event I've been in and I mange to take this photo, I have many cameras in my collection and I'm trying to take each time a different camera, so today I mange to take on with the canon that I think is worth posting here, nothing like framing objects or cats in 1 point perspective

Barry was waiting for Santa the other day. He did not come to see us. What could a bear want?

A view from inside a living room looking through a large window to the back yard, taken for the Flickr Friday group theme, "Inside." The scene is a 3-image HDR composite.

This is the same window I used for last week's Flickr Friday image (see first comment for that photo); rather unusual to use the same subject matter two weeks in a row. This time my DSLR was the right choice, rather than my iPhone.

Espresso is a coffee-brewing method of Italian origin, in which a small amount of nearly boiling water is forced under 9–10 bars of pressure through finely-ground coffee beans. Espresso can be made with a wide variety of coffee beans and roast degrees.

Espresso can be served hot or cold.

It's tough to feel like nobody sees you or wants to be friends with you. You just feel alone, unwanted, staring out into the world watching other people. I don't have many friends, if any at all. But I enjoy spending time with my cat and documenting his life with me. Its all I have.

A real harbinger of Spring ... and the air was full of their repetitive songs once the sun broke out. They were the most numerous migrants seen/heard around a disused gravel pits complex that day.

BEST VIEWED LARGE.

I could and have straightened this out, but I liked this look. 6 piece pano.

I would have done a full 360, but part of the building was in the way.
